Enjoy everything - the sunrooms porch swing, the fire pit, the cozy sitting/reading room or play family games in the large yard or board games in the dining room. Cook a large meal, host a cookout on the grill or just unwind in the shade.

Poteau is waiting for you at this 3-bedroom farmhouse we call Grandma’s Farmhouse. The bedrooms feature 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed and a futon/couch (sleeps 2), all perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. With amenities like a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ac, heating, ceiling fans, charcoal grill, work desk with chair, Coffee Maker and fast WiFi, you'll have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom offers a convenient shower for guests with oversized towels and body soaps & hand lotion. We also provide laundry soap & dryer sheets for our guests. In town for work & have a trailer of equipment or machinery? No worries, there’s ample parking for that in the circle drive or to the west side with a long driveway perfect for dropping that trailer while you run to town. You are welcome to chain to the large tree or yard light pole, must provide own chain.

Experience the magic of farm life at our lovely farmhouse. Enjoy the porch swing in the sunroom while sipping your morning coffee, roast some marshmallows around the campfire, read a book in the cozy sitting room or play board games with family in the dining room. This home is close to hiking trails, biking trails, ATV trails, horseback trails, great fishing (Wister Lake is ranked as the best crappie fishing in the state - plus the catfishing is good there as well). Just over the hill is Long Lake Resort which offers day passes for fishing, paddle boarding and more. This home is just minutes from Wister Lake, Cedar Lake (great bass fishing & a local favorite for kayak fishing) and the Ouchita National Forest which has thousands of acres of public hunting & public access areas. There is room to pull your boat, atv or utility trailers with ample parking.

There is a local butcher shop within walking distance so you can get that prime cut and take back to throw on the charcoal grill or cook on the gas stove. The kitchen if fully furnished with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner - for a small or large group of hungry guests. There is a WalMart & Harps Grocery Store within 5 miles for any last minute items you may need. We do keep basic seasonings, coffee and disposable plates, cups and utensils in stock for our guests. We can’t wait to host you!

There is a $200 security deposit that will be refunded after the cleaning crew approves inspection of property.
