The home was great! Very cozy and nicely decorated! I liked how the kitchen had all the necessities needed to cook. All our friends were camping with their trailers and we rented this cabin. Our kids really enjoyed it! We definitely would stay at this cabin again if we visit Pagosa Springs again.
Great little rustic cabin to stay in for a weekend getaway. Close to downtown Pagosa Springs and other nearby activities. Easy access, in and out. Free parking offered on premises with a garage for one vehicle, which was super nice. Lots of kitchen supplies and other amenities too. Fast Wi-Fi included. Wish there was an outdoor grill for a cook out or a firepit to sit with family/friends and relax at night. Otherwise, we've had a wonderful experience here and we would definitely come back. Time well spent. I highly recommend it.
Nice clean place. Great living room and dining area. Bedrooms and baths are ok. Wifi is strong. Convenient to major road, grocery store, restaurants, and gas. 30-45 minute drive to Wolf Creek. 5-10 minutes to downtown Pagosa Springs.
I loved the proximity to the upper part of Pagosa. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. The home was very comfortable. Full kitchen, 2 full baths, 2 king beds and 1 queen. Quiet neighborhood. The advertisement says partial air conditioning and that is true. Only in the upper level bedroom. There were adequate fans otherwise.
Our week long stay was great! The home was clean when we arrived and the kitchen had everything we needed to dine in.
We also loved the homes close proximity to town.
We went to Pagosa Springs to ski for the week at Wolf Creek. It was a fantastic week. The kids enjoyed the mountain and I enjoyed the miles of walking paths around the lake. This house is in a great neighborhood with a lot of amenities. Itâs very close to shopping and downtown. The management company was very attentive and addressed any issues or questions we had in a timely manner. They were very easy to work with.
The only con was the kitchen was a bit of a jumbled mess. Random things thrown in random cupboards/drawers. It could have been more organized.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great week.
Our family had a great stay. The house was conveniently located and was outfitted with everything we needed including all the kitchen items we needed for cooking. We enjoyed our stay.
Our family and friend group do a yearly hunting trip. In the past we have camped in tents up on the mountain. After looking around and finding this cabin and looking at the price it was very affordable and a way better option then tent camping. Having a full kitchen to cook out of, bathroom and shower, and laundry option ment we didn't have to bring as many things with us this year on our trip. Everyone in our group loved it. The garage was nice to leave all our gear in and be able to get ready in the mornings easier.
To clarify, this is really a 4.5 star review, but we canât rate with half stars.
My husband and I drove out from Austin for a week to get away for a bit. We both work from home and just wanted to be close to the mountains. We love Pagosa Springs and chose this cabin based on the wonderful reviews and cute pictures. The cabin was everything we expected: cozy, well-stocked, private, quiet, and close to everything.
The reason for the half-star ding is there could have been a bit more attention paid to some of the cleanliness details. Nothing we couldnât live with and we would DEFINITELY book this cabin again.
P.S. Not sure if the owners are from Texas, but we loved all the little references to the Lone Star State đ
We are a family of 5 from Florida we had never seen snow before this Cabin not only gave us awesome shelter from the cold snow âïž we came to see and learn to love but also made us feel at home so much so that we cooked and did laundry in it đmaking our stay that much better the cabin is 5 min to everything and anything you need. Thanks Vacasa for such great location.
Gorgeous inside and out!
This is a wonderful home with plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortably firm, and the washer and dryer were great to have! There were a few board games inside as well as corn hole boards and bean bags in the garage. There were deer roaming the neighborhood daily, which was a pleasant sight.
This house provided plenty of space for my 4 person family. The bathrooms were clean, clean sheets on beds, clean towels, however the wash cloths need to be replaced. They were stained and gross. The whole house needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. The house was very dusty (not great for people with allergies). The carpets are not very clean. The kitchen stove and cabinets need a good scrub down. There was an old slice of pepperoni in the oven drawer. We don't think the house was vacuumed before we arrived because we found a half eaten Oreo cookie on the floor in the living room and a pistachio nut (which really freaked out my daughter because she is highly allergic to all nuts), and we found a long bent screw on the carpet as well. It was nice to have an air conditioner in the bedroom upstairs because it does get warm up there. There is a ceiling fan in the main area along with some floor fans. These were extremely dusty. Whoever is managing the house is doing a disservice to the owners by not cleaning it well at all. The location of the house is convenient to get everywhere and it is in a nice safe location. I would have given it 4 stars, but due to the lack of cleanliness of the house, it is only getting 3 stars (which was questionable also.) Sadly, we won't be choosing this property ever again, due to the lack of cleanliness.
This home was everything we look for when renting a vacation home. We particularly appreciated the upstairs loft area as a mini-getaway location. This home has very quick and easy access to shopping and dining, and the highway to other scenic locations in Southern Colorado. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and was larger than anticipated. We were also frequented by a small herd of deer during our stay.
Highly recommend!!
This is a great house in a good location. Quite neighborhood and would sleep a lot of people
This property overall is great for a family. The basics were clean but overall the house was very dusty and the outside areas were not cleaned. There was still ice melting material on the driveway in June. Outside furniture couldnât be used. Fans were all very dusty. I hated to write this in a review because the house is great, but the cleaning crew or management is doing the owners a big disservice in the overall house cleaning. I called and sent pictures after our stay, but never heard back from anyone.
