Revivez les années 60 groovy dans notre maison du lac Strawberry Fields populaire. Niché dans les collines du comté de Monroe / Brown sur le magnifique lac Lemon, Strawberry Fields regorge de souvenirs des années 60 et d'hommages des Beatles, et a servi de centre de divertissement familial pour de nombreuses familles en vacances depuis les années 1960.

En dehors de ce refuge informel amusant jaune et rouge en famille se trouve un quai à bateaux et une zone de baignade / plage, ainsi qu'une grande cour et un bain à remous avec une vue panoramique sur le lac. Strawberry Fields est parfait pour les familles et les grands rassemblements, et offre le nec plus ultra des hébergements adaptés aux enfants avec son accès en pente douce au lac, et une grande cour arrière plate qui est idéale pour lancer le frisbee ou jouer au croquet. Pour les adultes, il y a une balançoire double unique pouvant accueillir six personnes assis sur l'eau - un endroit délicieux pour siroter une boisson fraîche, discuter et regarder le coucher du soleil.

Cette escapade fantaisiste du comté de Monroe peut accueillir confortablement neuf personnes avec un lit queen-size au rez-de-chaussée, un futon queen-size dans le salon, un lit queen-size et un lit simple dans l'une des chambres à l'étage et un lit double et simple dans l'autre chambre à l'étage.

Comme toutes nos propriétés, il est idéalement situé à mi-chemin entre Bloomington et Nashville. Notez qu'après quatre invités, il y a un supplément de 7 $. 50 par personne.

Great location but bad management

This property has a ton of potential but no care is taken for guests. The house was dated and we knew this from reading reviews but the cleanliness was horrible. Shame on us because there was some mentioning this but , wow . The normal bugs in a lake house is exceptable but when we saw roaches this was our breaking point of dealing with this rental. We are a family of six and can tolerate a lot but this was the first time ever that our whole family was happy to go home from a vacation , kids actually wanted to leave early. We dealt with it because we really didn’t have a choice. This was one of the most disappointing vacations we have taken. Also reviews are not my thing and neither is complaining but I just couldn’t let this go. Do not spend your hard earned money here. Maybe spend a few bucks more , I wish I did!

Wonderful location

Very nice spot on the lake. The home has character. It's nice to be able to walk to the Port Hole and it's not a far drive to Bloomington.

House was not clean, a lot of insects and we found mice poop too. There spider webs , dust,and dog hair in every room . The bathroom and kitchen was not clean perfectly. The house has an amazing view but windows were dirty. The outside of house is dirty too. We didn’t go for cleaning but we had to clean fridge and bathroom before using it. Unfortunately we couldn’t sleep well as we found alive spiders on beds. Having one bathroom for 5 people can be challenging too. Ping pong table is good but again, surrounded by spider webs. Some areas smell fungi. The red Kayak was nice but again everything has spider webs. In general we had to clean everything we used to be sure to do not get sick. If you like clean environment and protect you health, look for something else. The owner is nice but she didn’t refund any cleaning fee and gave excuses and apologies but not enough to make our trip better. We think we will come back one day to Lemon Lake but not there. I have a lot of pictures and videos to proof. Contact me if you need them.

Peaceful Lake Lemon Getaway

Lake Lemon Stay

Great location and home. No hot tub as listed, not cleaned well, ceiling in kitchen leaked water when it rained. I cleaned everything I touched basically but this house would still be amazing for a low key summer break stay with friends to enjoy the lake.

Loved it there

We loved the lake front house lots of room for the kids and stuff for them to do. Stores and stuff not to far to drive. Just very relaxing we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sura for letting us stay in your house on the lake

Charming Lakeside Retreat

My wife and I rented this home while she was in Bloomington for some CE. It’s a great little spot on the lake with a large backyard and tons of quirky charm. It can be a little tricky to find which only adds to the sense of getting away.

Family and pet friendly

Very relaxed, great yard to play in. Felt very comfortable and had plenty of room when the kids and grandkids came for dinner. Owner very nice. Pot hole inn has delicious food. Catfish was a huge hit with the grandson and hubby.

Very cute “hippy” house

We enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Fields. The house is very eclectically furnished with lots of kitsch- a style I love. The property itself was nice, right on a lake in a rural area. I thought it could use a professional deep-cleaning, but other than that it was very satisfactory for our family. I would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed

We needed a place with multiple bedrooms for family weekend at IU and this home provided us with everything we needed. It was a quick 20 minute drive to campus plus we had space for our family and dog and a great view of Lake Lemon. If you are looking for something fancy, this may not be your answer, but if you need space for extra people, a pet, and enjoy lake life, this may be for you.

It was okay

The house and property were nice with the water front but as we were there, the owner of the house kept popping up During our stay conversating and having an Attitude And then on the day of departure was 11 o'clock. And the owner was there at 9:30 in the morning. Watching us as we were cleaning up. Then also One of our friends we're walking on the deck and fell through As many things of this property were very old and not well maintained. We had fun but I would never stay there again

Perfect for us

You kno everyone always wants to be quick to point out whatever they can to bring a property down... this was our 2nd year going and we❤ it.. the house is so kis friendly we never even have to unpack my granddaughters toys, if ur looking for the "RITZ" this ain't it looking for a laid back stay this is it!!

Girl's Trip

The lake view was outstanding. The kayaks allowed us to see the lake and sounding area better. We had a great time. We knew the place was an old farmhouse, but the house needs updating. There was a lot of stuff in the house which made it cluttered. My suggestion would be to remove most of the decorations in the living room and dining room to allow for space to congregate.

Lake stay

There is a large back yard leading to the lake, which was great. The location right on the water was the highlight of the place. The indoor space is crowded and unorganized, did not have a working washer/dryer or dishwasher, and didn’t provide enough beach and bath towels/dish towels. While the view of the lake was great, the house itself was very dated and not well-kept. We made the most of it staying outside most all of our time and taking advantage of the multiple kayaks, rafts that were provided.

Great Lake Access

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Be aware you must recycle all your trash, sweep and vacuum before you leave and the upstairs was hot. We bought fans and yard guard. The home has decades of deferred maintenance but my family thought it a great value. Nothing fancy - just a beautiful lake. Owner watches you from neighboring properties and does drive bys.

Lovely Lake View

Absolutely loved the outdoor space - double swing on the shore, fire pit, back deck off the dining room & kitchen, gorgeous view of the lake! Indoors is very 1960s - Beatles and LOTS of memorabilia from the time. If you're an old hippie, you'll love it. If you're fancy, not so much. It's all a matter of what you like. It was just fine for four women who were born in the early 1960s and raised on farms near a small town. Love the owner, honest and down to earth, great communication, very responsive to our requests. Lots of sleeping spaces for families and welcoming to pets. Enjoyed our time there.

I moved here January 1984 after growing up at a lake 10 miles from the White House and was happy to find this unknown lake, almost abandoned and no one valued it. I started buying land and houses in the area, hanging onto them and slowly remodeling them.I have worked extremely hard to keep these houses and I continue to work hard keeping them going along with 4 other full time rentals and my mini farm and 34 acres of mostly wooded land. My partner found me in 2020 and he jumped right in to help maintain and improve it all!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I live near by and wanted a place to park my boat and swim so I use this house when guest are not there . I do go get my boat sometimes.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There are very few houses on this lake for rent and this is the only one with a great swimming area. It’s only 10 miles from IU and Bloomington and 11 miles from Nashville IN.
