First the goodâŠThe unit is a lovely two bedroom, on the first floor of a multi unit property. Itâs clean & centrally located, with options for food and shopping. Slightly older, but quaint, with everything needed. Check-in was easy. There is one air conditioner in the unit, so the second bedroom was hot, causing my children to stay with me in my room to remain cool during the evening. Unfortunately, our short stay was marred by two events. On our first day, an unknown man taking pictures of our car and the driveway where we were parked. I repeatedly reached out to the owner, VRBO and subsequently the police. VRBO also reached out repeatedly to the owner. It took hours for us to get the first contact back, and the he subsequently came by about six hours later (which I appreciated). On the 2nd day, we were locked out of our unit after seeing a play and returning home at 10:45. Once again, I contacted Luis and VRBO. Once again, the responses were not timely. We would get a responseâŠthen nothing. VRBO would reach out, but said they received no response. After we were outside for almost an hour and change, AND missed required medicationâŠhe then advised that there were spare keys in the backyard that we couldâve used earlier to enter the home. I reached out with my concerns on our last day there, and have heard nothing back. If you do rent the unit, please be aware that timely communication may or may not occur. It just happened that we needed and didnât receive it.
