Cette maison de vacances pittoresque est situé dans le village de Watkins Glen ... la maison au Glen State Park Gorge Watkins, route des vins, Cascades, Seneca Lake et Watkins Glen International Speedway. La maison dispose de toutes les commodités de la maison avec salle de séjour avec smart-tv avec câble et Wifi, coin repas, cuisine ouverte avec réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, machine à café, et des ustensiles. Laveuse et sécheuse pour votre usage. 1 Chambre de la Reine, 1 Chambre avec Trundle Daybed (2 couchages), canapé-lit dans le salon et 1 salle de bain complète. Short Weekend

We only stayed 2 nights which wasn't long enough. Beautiful area, many wineries, breweries, and distilleries to visit and the lake is beautiful. The house is conveniently located close to town and was clean.

We really enjoyed our stay and the quiet neighborhood! Close to Watkins Glen State Park and lots of activities! The host was wonderful and the house is perfect for a family!

Wonderful stay again.

Great place to stay. We’ve stayed here several times. There was an issue with the dishwasher that we were advised of prior to our arrival. Might be time to consider replacing the mattresses on the beds. It is indeed a lovely quiet neighborhood.

Memorable stay

It was top notch. The house had everything we needed, thoughtfully supplied, clean, quiet street and close to everything we wanted to do . Loved the decor, quality furniture, lamps, classic items and pictures that made it inviting. Air conditioner/heater was awesome! So easy to get the temperature and air flow just right. We would rent again if we needed to be in the area. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Family Reunion

Great location in Watkins Glen. A quick car ride to downtown and the State Park. Beautiful scenic views of many of the falls. Wish we could have stayed longer to take in more of the sites. We will make a return trip in the future.

Great location and very clean

We really liked the place! Great location, very clean and well equipped! This was our first trip to Lake Seneca and we will definitely be back! The only cons I have is that the remote control to the TV was a little wonky and hard to figure out and the mattresses were not in the best shape. I would definitely return if the mattresses were replaced! Thank you for a great day!

Girls Weekend

We went as a girl's trip. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to cook. Grill worked well. It was nice having linens and towels provided. Front door gave us a little bit of trouble lol but after 3 of us girls tried it worked. We went hiking during our time and I actually had a surprise engagement that my girlfriends planned. It was the best trip. Would defiantly stay there again.

Great Location, Great Price!

My family spent a long weekend here enjoying Watkins Glen State Park and Seneca Lake. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and was minutes from all the activities we had planned. The unit was clean, comfortable and can't be beat for the price. It appeared that the A/C and bathroom had been updated since the pictures on VRBO. The beds were adequately comfortable. Overall we had a great stay!

Cozy and great location

This was a great property near town. It was clean and very comfortable. Had everything you would need in the kitchen. I dont like putting anything negitive on a review but, My only issue was the secondary beds were not comfortable at all. Master bed was ok. Otherwise we loved the place and would definitely rent again.

great apartment but unresponsive host/uncleaned apartment

Loved the apartment and it was exactly like the pictures. WiFi was great and kitchen/grill were well equipped. Prior to arriving the host was unresponsive via VRBO messaging (we requested early check-in and she said to contact day before, then didn’t respond). It didn’t seem like the apartment was cleaned when we arrived, and the host said she would come herself to clean and also reschedule the cleaners. From what we saw the cleaners never came, and we were refunded the cleaning fee. The apartment was walking distance from Watkins Glen and close to everything we needed/wanted to do.

Overall, very pleased

Property is clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our activities while in staying in Watkins Glen. Adequate parking for two vehicles, although the driveway wasn't the easiest to navigate. Neighborhood is quiet, but the people (and pups) we encountered were friendly. There were a few challenges during our stay. The flap needs to be replaced on the toilet. We had to manually push it down when flushing to get the tank to refill. The home owner said our issues were due to low water pressure. That may be partly true but clearly the flap in the tank needs adjusting/replacing. In addition, the water did not drain properly during my showers. I ended up standing in 2 inches of water in the tub each time, and I don't take exceptionally long showers. I tried to adjust the drain, but it seemed to be as open. Even with the bathroom issues, I would consider staying at the property again if we make another trip to Watkins Glen.

Great Location & Better Than Expected Accommodations

The pictures don't do this place justice. This is a very nice vacation property, very close to downtown Watkins Glen and centrally located for easy access to many Finger Lakes destinations. And yes, it is a VERY quiet residential street located probably a quarter mile as the crow flies from the shore of Seneca Lake. The lake can be seen, just barely, through the trees. The view is probably unobstructed during the winter. Previous reviews regarding cleanliness and the WiFi are unfounded as far as we could tell. Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. As for the WiFi, it might not be suitable for gaming, but it was perfectly adequate for working including video calls and access to remote network resources. At no time did we find it lacking. The only issue we found, that others have reported as well, is the A/C. There is one window unit in the living room which has difficulty keeping up in the terrible heat of this summer. There are several box fans and ceiling fans around the property which do help to move the cooler air around but the place could benefit from either a more powerful A/C in the living room or, better yet, separate window units in the main bedroom and the sun room. Overall, we would recommend this property.
