In the delightful town of Bedford lies the warm and welcoming two-bedroom Cosmic Cottage, perfect for work travel, family visits, IU parents or for fun group getaways.



The Cottage is done in a funky mid-century theme. Celebrating Lawrence County in the late 1950's-1960's. Enjoy colorful murals and hidden atomic kitties, blending nostalgia with modern comfort.



Centrally located, you'll feel like you're in the middle of everywhere Indiana. Ideal for those seeking charm, creativity, and quality during their stay. The Cottage is just a short drive to INDIANA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, Lake Monroe, Spring Mill State Park and NSWC CRANE.



At the Cosmic Cottage you will find a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave and all the necessary appliances to whip up delicious meals. Gather around the dining table and enjoy quality time with your loved ones, or step outside and fire up the grill for an alfresco dining experience on the porch.



When it's time to unwind, you can curl up on the comfortable living room furniture, catch up on your favorite shows on the smart TV, or delve into the selection of books, records, and games available. For those who need to stay connected, the free WiFi and the desk with a chair provide a dedicated workspace.



At the end of the day, you’ll find a plush king bed with blackout shades to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The second bedroom features two comfy twin XL beds, also equipped with blackout shades, perfect for families or groups. The living room doubles as an additional sleeping space with a full sleeper sofa and an extra twin XL roll away, if needed. This offers flexibility for larger groups. You will relax in style with mid-century modern furnishings throughout, creating a retro yet refined vibe. The 1.5 bathrooms are equipped with towels, basic soaps, and a hair dryer.
