The house was just charming and adorable. Very spacious with plenty for sleeping accommodations. Absolutely loved the unique lot it was located on. It was close to downtown, the beach, grocery store but yet very secluded. Enjoyed South Haven by all and host was wonderful.
You can walk to downtown, a bit too far of a walk to get to south beach. Tons of things to do. The house is very close to everything. We had plenty of room for 10 of us. Great location, nice home, would def rent it again.
We just spent an extended weekend with our grown kids and grandkiddos in South Haven and are so thankful we found Robin's Nest! Very spacious, clean and welcoming. The outside space was absolutely perfect for the little ones to run around and play! The long, private driveway made this a very safe location for little ones. We all had fun in the little playhouse - love that singing fish! We relaxed by the firepit, roasting hot dogs & marshmallows. Getting to the beach was a very short drive as was the quaint, fun downtown area. If you have kids, check out Kids Corner which is a city park not far at all from the cottage. Robin's home is a gem. All of us enjoyed our stay!
Great house with lots of room for 8 of us to spread out. Loved the character of the house and so much fun stuff to check out in the house. We used the gas grill, the fire pit, the bicycles, beach chairs, and the screened in porch was our favorite spot.
Easy walk to town and the beach, all though we drove to the beach because of the amount of stuff we wanted to bring. The adresss is on a busy street, but as soon as you go down the private drive, you cant see or hear anything. We loved being tucked away.
Its clear that the owner, Robin spends time there because it has all the spices and kitchen necessities you could need. We also loved the amount of plates and silverware available. With such a large group, it made it eaay to do many meals without needing to worry about washing dishes for the next meal.
Robin was also excellent at communicating before during and after. We wiuld definitely stay there again!
Loved the location and privacy. Rental was clean and well equipped. Comfortable and homey. One of our guests from Chicago is planning on renting again. Robin and Jim were very gracious.
Short weekend away with family. Very nice, cozy place. Just of the Main Street but itâs down a long private drive and once you get there you feel secluded. Robin had everything we needed and plenty of room. My grandson loved running around. We stay somewhere South of here last September and my kids (26 & 40) said even though Robins Nest is older it has more charm and privacy (space between rentals), making it quiet & relaxing & they liked this place better.
This place offered a great retreat for our family while we visited South Haven. It was fun for the kids and adults, as we checked out the playhouse, sat in the screened porch, lit a fire in the pit, grilled and enjoyed the inside space in the evenings for games and visiting. Plenty of space inside & out for someone to find some private time as well. We are glad we were able to rent this property!
How amazing this property truly is! Town is so close but when youâre âhomeâ you feel secluded and relaxed! This property was truly amazing. Robin was easy to reach to ask questions and the house was stocked with basically all you need for your stay! We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit as well as the screened in porch. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in South Haven. We will 100% be back again!
Not much more to from the Title, but this was our second visit to Robins Nest and it was just as fantastic as the first. Warm, welcoming home with all the appliances one would need for a weekend away.
We had a great stay! Having the 3 levels was helpful for each family to have their own space. We enjoyed the outdoor area and appreciated having the beach chairs to use. Good location⊠you can walk to town if you want but itâs a bit if a ways and we had little kids so it was easier to drive. Definitely recommend!!
Robins Nest is a wonderful and special property for families and/ or friends to spend time together. The large and secluded house is located at the end of a long driveway off of the main road leading to the town and beeches of South Haven- which are within easy walking distance of the house. The four large bedrooms are spread over three floors and the house has a large living room, dining room and fully- stocked kitchen on the main floor and a separate lounge and TV area on a lower floor that some of my family used to relax in privacy. My 2 year old granddaughter loved playing in the wooden playhouse overlooking a stream and on the spacious grounds both in the front and back of the house. All of us enjoyed grilling and relaxing in the evening around the fire pit in the backyard. Robin is an excellent host and was always available , communicative and helpful. My family would love to return to Robins Nest in the future.
Robin's Nest provided a comfortable, restful stay after a day if activity. There was ample space for six adults, a toddler and an infant. Furnishings were not new but adequate.
Everything as promised and then some. The property itself is a wonderful getaway even if you never left for the beautiful beaches or fun town. So well maintained and well supplied with things we didn't even think of when packing. Just lovely. We'll be back!
We had a great stay at Robinâs Nest. First time to South Haven - totally enjoyed it and the house was our perfect home base. Walkable to beach and restaurants; ample room for our group; fantastic outdoor fire pit - highly recommend.
