While we didn’t get cooperative beach weather, the house and location made up for it. Comfortable house for two families of four, and walking distance to everything you need in way of essentials and entertainment. Great stay.

This house is everything as advertised and more, wonderful in every resepect. Well appotined and furnished with every you could ask for.Lots of old charm with up all the up to date conveience in kitchen and baths including an outdoor shower and AC. Location is just great, as others have mentioned, we did not have to get in the car even once.

Amazing summer getaway

It was an amazing house that fit my whole family and some friends. We had a small walk to the beach and the restaurants. The crepe and coffee place just a few houses away is wonderful!!

Wonderful stay in Beach Haven

Great location, quiet but close to the beach and shops/restaurants. We loved that the owners kept the cottage's vintage charm, while making key updates. The kitchen was great for cooking & entertaining, and the upstairs bathroom allowed multiple women to get ready at the same time (important as we were in town for a wedding with multiple events requiring makeup). Lynn was terrific to deal with - responsive & friendly.

Great house in great location!

House was lovely and newly renovated inside. Short stroll to the beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Air conditioned. Two bathrooms with showers. Beautiful big shower in upstairs bathroom. Beautiful kitchen. Bring your own sheets and T.P.

Beautiful in every way

This is an historic, beautiful home in a prime location. Park the car and walk everywhere! It was totally renovated in 2023 so there are state-of-the art amenities combined with old-world charm. Our family of 9 were very comfortable! We have booked already for next summer.

Perfect Beach Week

Although our family has not been to LBI in 8 years, this is where we spent our family vacations for years as our kids were growing up. We were so happy to be back and this house was perfect. Close to everything, including the beach. And so beautiful inside! Comfortable beds, huge kitchen with everything we needed, lovely bathrooms, great front porch for reading and relaxing. We definitely appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels since we were coming from all over the country.

Lovely Victorian home in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed the home. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. As a suggestion, the main TV would be great mounted on the wall which would free up space and allow the whole gang to watch a movie together. Towels & linens are provided which is always appreciated. Thanks for great memories!!

Great house in Beach Haven

We rented this house with another family last week (4 children total) and thought it was great. The bedroom set up works well for 2 families- 2 bedrooms on each side of the second floor, bisected by a bathroom. The house is clean, well decorated, updated and has everything you need including beach chairs, sheets, towels and boogie boards. The large wrap around porch was great for lounging around and the fenced in back area was perfect for our kids to run around and ride their scooters on the brick path. Its close to the beach and to everything in Beach Haven you want to go to. Owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Property was dirty upon arrival.

I have rented here in two previous summers and couldn’t have been more pleased. This year, upon my daughters’ arrival, the house stank of dog and marijuana, the kitchen counters had not been cleaned and the fridge had not been emptied. After speaking with the owner my issues were not adequately addressed. My daughters did not want to insult the owner so just cleaned things up and even fixed a fence. The bunk bed was already broken upon arrival. I was penalized $500.00 for conditions that were none of my doing. I will not ever rent here again.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. If there is a problem at check in and we are informed immediately, we could have had the cleaning team back to rectify the situation. I was not made aware of any issues until my cleaning team came at the end of your 2 week stay. Partial security deposit was held because all windows were left open with the AC running at 62 degrees, which could have caused damaged to the AC unit. We have a top-notch property management team/cleaning crew which always does a very good job.

Great stay

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it's always a great time. The house is about two short blocks to the beach and an easy walk to great restaurants, Fantasy Island, and Bay Village. The wrap around porch is the true highlight of this property with a sound system, lights, and plenty of space for the whole family to hang out and enjoy the summer evenings. Lynn, the owner, is super communicative and helpful!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We shopped for a beach house on Long Beach Island, because it is quieter than some other New Jersey Beaches. We prefer beaches with no boardwalks and large hotels. We specifically fell in love with Historic Beach Haven because of its charm, the beautiful homes, and the quiet neighborhoods. After looking at almost 20 houses, we found this gem. The moment we stepped inside, we just fell in love with house. On the outside, it looks like a charming beach cottage, with the fabulous wrap around screened porch, but the inside has been recently updated with modern ammenities, without losing the charm. The two staircases lead to fantastic bedrooms upstairs. After we stayed in the house the first time, we felt like we were right at home, and we didn't want to leave. The former owner said the house would wrap its arms around you and make you feel right at home...and it did.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The large wrap around porch offers hours of cool breezes while you sit and listen to music on the outdoor speakers and watch the people go by. There are two small french doors on either side of the house that can be opened to the screened porch to allow the ocean breeze to fill the house. The two staircases lead to four themed bedrooms each of which has its own personality. There is an outdoor shower for washing away the sand, when returning from the beach and also supplements the two interior bathrooms.
