Maison construite sur mesure de 2000 pieds carrés surplombant le lac Great Sacandaga avec 120 pieds de front de lac privé avec quai. La maison est impeccable avec 3 chambres (maximum de 4 adultes et 4 enfants), deux salles de bain complètes, cuisine gastronomique et boiseries de pins pris des arbres à droite sur la propriété. Le deuxième niveau a une belle zone vitrée avec une table de jeu donnant sur le lac. Peut accueillir jusqu'à quatre adultes et quatre enfants - la chambre à coucher pour enfants a deux ensembles de lits superposés. Grande enveloppe autour du pont surplombant le lac.

Lovely to wake up to lake views

My family had an amazing time at this lovely home on the Sacandaga! The cool breezes through all of the windows, the lake noises, the spaciousness of all the rooms, access to the dock and the Adirondack feel of the house make it a very special place to stay!

Second stay here, very nice place. Great kitchen with Adirondack feel and a dock. Cant ask for much more…except maybe cooler temps!

Great place to stay

The property and house are wonderful. Stayed here with family for part of a work trip. Easy drive to Saratoga. The driveway can be a little tricky but overall our stay was great.

The check-in was easy, communication with Mary Beth was great. The house was well stocked. We were there 12 days. We had a pick up a few things to restock, but that's not a problem. The climate in the house is good when the weather is good and could get sticky when the weather is not. We knew there was no air-conditioning so we brought 4 36 inch commercial fans.They helped. The house itself is great and very comfortable. roasting marshmallows and making s'mores at the fire pit was nice. The area down around the dock can be a little challenging if you're in your 70s(I survived getting to the boat a couple times a day). The views from the house are great. The lake is beautiful very quiet during the week and pretty damn quiet on the weekends, not a lot of traffic. We would stay again.

This is a beautiful home with a well-appointed kitchen, owners are very good at providing how to use the facilities. The house has no air Conditioning, it was very hot, it would be nice if at least fans were provided.The primary bedroom and bath are very roomy, however as noted in the 2021 review the bed is a major let down, it caves in the middle and feels unstable, definitely time for a new one! We did not sleep well all week. The lake is clean and inviting, but getting to it is a pain, literally, the rocks are painful to your feet on the way to the water and into it. The grounds area to the water is very boggy. The dock could use some work as well. BEWARE: Please be cognizant of the hot water! It is very hot; burning hot. In the ad on VRBO there are some errors; no cable/satellite; barbeque grill is unusable, rusty, dirty and flame is miniscule, we had planned grilling often but, were unable to, ran the grill for 20 mins, never went above 200 degrees. There are many reasons to stay here, just some care needs to happen in this home. We had a great time despite the issues.

Comfortable stay in lakeside house

Overall this property was perfect for what we were looking for, the owners were quick to reply to any questions we had. Only cons are the bed in the master feels like it was going to break as there was only one bar under neath the mattress keeping it up so every time we moved there was a loud creaking, not having A/C could have bn an issue since I don’t remember seeing it in the advert but weather was 70s so it was comfortable with breeze from lake and down the mountain Only other thing is the lake access was marsh and flooded so we could not use it to sit by the lake but we swam from the dock but with a child it wasn’t the safest Pluses for this place is the space itself, so nice with all the wood and high vaulted ceilings, the kitchen is modern and there is plenty of space on the deck It suited the quiet getaway we were looking for and I would recommend for anybody looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat

Glad you had a nice stay at the lake and enjoyed the house. Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately this was one of the wettest summers. Your stay was shortly after the lake rose over 2 feet in less than a week. This made many lake fronts very wet including ours. Glad you were still able to enjoy swimming from the dock. Also thank you for your input on the master bed. We will take a look at it to make sure it is tight and well supported. It is a solid wood frame and while strong it can be a little creaky and may have loosened up a bit. Hope you come back to stay again!

Family Getaway

We had a great week visiting with family, going to the Northville parade, watching fireworks and enjoying the lake. It's a perfect house for a family gathering with open spaces and a great wrap around porch with a spectacular Lake view. Great location on the lake for boats, kayaks, paddleboards. The access to the dock is tricky. Recommend wearing water shoes to navigate the shoreline. Had a great time!

Perfect family getaway!

This home was absolutely perfect for our week getaway! Our six kids ranging from 10-17 years old spent the entire week footsteps from the door in the lake! The house was immaculate, had all the amenities we needed, the owners were amazing to deal with and the spot on the lake was private and perfect!! Cannot wait to get back!

Summer Vacation Home

Very beautiful, comfortable home. Set up was great, the view was magnificent, rooms were roomy, the wrap around porch was perfect. The lake lot was on an incline which made the grounds wet and muddy somewhat but it never stopped us from enjoying ourselves down at the lake and having fires. Could use a new picnic table and better walkway to dock but again it was still manageable . I would recommend this property to others and I would come back again! Host was most accommodating !

Our tranquil getaway

Beautiful home, super clean with all the amenities. We hit the Wal-mart, stocked up on food, and relaxed by the lake the whole week. Easy to access to the dock and the water where we enjoed using our wave-runners, rafts and tubes, and the owners provided a kayak. Some nights we took a drive into the illage of Lake George, which was about 40 minutes away. Owners were super nice, easy to get in touch with, and accommodating. Lovely House, Great lakeview, Caring Owners

Property is lovely and maintained well. The kitchen has excellent appliances and the owners were very generous with what they stocked for renters in advance. View of lake is great and the screened in porch was a definite plus. Only challenge was that the driveway is very steep which made it challenging for our minivan and matrix to climb. The Subaru with 4 wheel drive had no problem. Stairs in the house were a bit challenging for someone with hip problem but it was manageable. Having a parking spot at the bottom of the driveway was greatly appreciated. It was wonderful to be able to moor a motorboat to their dock. Owners are aware that their dock needs some care and updating but it worked well for all the people in our party, even for the person with a stability problem.

We are a family of six who loves making memories at this house with our children. There are only a few times per year when we or our extended family are not using the house during which we hope to rent it to other families who can make their own memories.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with this property because it was very new and completely custom. It has great views of the lake and is on a part of the lake that has many permanent residents. The lake tends to be more calm in this area as well for kayaking and swimming.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Great views and nice layout. The house sits up high like many in the area which gives great views of sunsets and the lake. Like many lake houses, the road runs between the house and the lake. When these lakes were originally built like so many in new York they built the roads right on the lake. But this house was built up high so you look out onto the lake.
