This stunning guest home overlooks Lake Chatuge and is located just minutes from the towns of Hiawassee and Young Harris Georgia and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. There is easy and quick access to boating and fishing on Lake Chatuge. The Ridges Marina and public boat ramp are less than 1mile distance, so bring your boat and jet skis. Great restaurants, cozy movie theater, quaint little shops, and much more are very close. Only 5 minutes to Young Harris College, 10 minutes to Hayesville, NC and 15 minutes to Blairsville. Close by are Helen, Blue Ridge, and the Chattahoochee National Forest. Many access points of the nationally renowned Appalachian Trail are just a short distance from your home. This is a perfect bungalow to recharge your batteries with all the room and creature comforts of your own home in the city. Relax and enjoy the peaceful views of Lake Chatuge, the forest covered slopes nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. See the lighted mountainside at night from your perfect view on the large back deck. Enjoy the fresh air, cool, calm waters, and especially the peace and quiet of this area with friends and family. We are confident you will want to come back again and again. Don't forget, this is a pet friendly rental with a fenced in yard with a dog run, so you are welcome to bring your 4-legged friends.
Hot Tub Drained and Cleaned after every reservation. This house does not have deeded lake access, but there are public access points close by.

The property is in a fantastic location with beautiful views. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The downstairs king-size bed was very soft, and one side of the mattress sat noticeably lower than the other. Fortunately, we had extra beds available, so our adult guests were forced to use a queen instead. The home would also benefit from a thorough cleaning, and the deck could use a power wash. With a few updates, this would be an even better rental.

Quick trip to the Mountains

The house was great! It would be awesome for a large family. BE WARNED the house sleeps 11 but they do an additional charge after 5 people. We noticed after staying that there was an additional charge for a 6th guest, which we did NOT have and they would not return the funds. Please check itemized charges.

Beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful view, very clean and well equipped, but the master shower handle kept falling down needs to be replaced, master bedroom fan does not work and shower in the basement cannot be used because water does not drain at all. Other than that, we loved the place and will be coming back next year.

We also needed something pet friendly. Our GPS didn’t give us accurate directions but the property managers who rented to us did. They made things easier. There was also a storm the night before and you could tell they came early to clean up the property because everything looked nice (inside and outside). We enjoyed the home and the property was very pet friendly. The property managers were kind and helpful. We will be back again and would highly recommend to anyone!

Great week

House was great. Beds very comfortable. We had 8 in our party. Bedrooms very spacious. Loved the deck and sunroom. Lots of chairs for everyone on the deck. Views were beautiful. House is not directly on the lake but the view makes up for it. Sunroom has lots of room as well! We had a great time.

Great place for lake and mountain activities. Lots of room for a large group. Starter supplies provided not as plentiful as other VRBO rentals we have experienced. Good restaurant choices close by.

Lakeview Vista

The house was amazing. There were so many places to hangout from the patio, to both screened porches and the nice open concept kitchen/dining room/living room space. The view of Lake Chatuge was amazing. The only thing I can say negative is there was no access to lake directly in front of house. There's an empty lot for sale in front of the house but we weren't sure if we could go onto someone's private property. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views!!

This property was perfect for my family for a 5 night stay in July! The home has a fabulous lake view, is spacious with many areas to be together or spread out for quiet time. There are 2 bedrooms on each floor, master on upper floor with en-suite bathroom and a private balcony, and a 2nd upper BR with bathroom for general use. Lower floor has 2 BR with a shared bathroom, and a nice tv/game room area to hang out. The kitchen is well-equipped with most home kitchen items! We really enjoyed our time at this fabulous home by the lake and hope to book again in the future!

One closet door was missing in a bedroom. Cleaning supplies were kept there. Hard to keep kids out.

The view from the house was wonderful. We enjoyed all the porches and the 2 floors of living space. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Could use some more instruction on hot tub. Ice maker in frig not working. Samsung is the WORST. I had one. Instructions for thermostat were for 2 units. We finally figured out this house did NOT have 2 units and adjusted temps. Instructions deceiving. Location very convenient. Beds very comfortable.
