We stayed here for a couple of nights while in town for college baseball, and it was the perfect home base. The house was spotless when we arrived—everything felt fresh and well cared for. It’s impressively well-stocked with all necessary essentials plus nice little comforts that made it feel like home right away.The space is comfortable and cozy, with plenty of room to relax after long days at the ballpark. The quiet neighborhood and peaceful evenings were a nice change of pace. Ashley was an outstanding host! She responded to every message quickly and was very accommodating. We would happily book this place again and would recommend it to anyone visiting

This was perfect for my family and I. Very cozy and clean. You can tell they take pride in the place. I appreciated the little snacks in the kitchen. Great hot water pressure in the shower/bath. I had a hiccup with finding my access password but the hosts were quick to help in less than 5 min of calling. Would stay again for sure.

My stay was very good. Kitchen and bathroom was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was coffee and creamer in the kitchen which for me was a plus. I did bring my own as i wasn't going to get up in morning and not have my coffee. This is a place that i will stay at again if i need 2 bedrooms.

Such a cute house! More than enough room for myself, husband and 12 year old son. Fun family games to play in the dining room! They even put out small snacks in the kitchen. Will definitely book here again if needed in the future!

Comforts of home - away from Home

We were in Beautiful Winfield to drop our son off at Southwestern College. We chose this because well 1 it was convenient to everyone, and 2 because it was clean. We enjoyed our stay, it was great having such an amazing place to work through the emotions of leaving your kids at college for the first time. We had plenty of space and fresh coffee for the morning. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone we can. Thanks Mike

Comfortable Accommodation

This Winfield home was just as advertised - comfortable and homey. Clean and well cared for, the home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Home owner was responsive and timely. Highly recommend this spot in Winfield.

Our boys are in college we wanted to be able to spend time as a family. The house was perfect allowed us to spend time together.

Simple stay in small town

We were in town for family so it was convenient. Hosts were communicative and house was warm, quiet, cozy, and water was hot. Cleanliness and quality of bedding could’ve been better — I have a lot of allergies so I notice it quickly. There was a cheesy mess left in the microwave and crumbs everywhere in the kitchen, bed sheets were poor quality and had a lot of hair left from prior guests which made my skin super itchy (even after washing it) and sleep was uncomfortable. Bunk beds were also squeaky. Overall worked for what I needed.

This is a rare occurrence, as you can see from our other reviews, but we understand that's no excuse. I could have stayed home and cleaned.

Upon arriving, the host had not sent us the code. So drove around until we could get the app to load and then found the number and called the host. He said he would get it to us by the time we got back over to the house.The storm door was damaged, the connecting rod for the closer is bent. So I open the app and was going to send a message to the host that we found it that way, as my friend entered the house, she discovered beds unmade, piles of sheets on bed. Also piles of sheets and comforters on the laundry room floor, towels used in the bathroom, around the bathroom, bathtub dirty, toilet dirty, dishwasher was hanging open. Both racks slid out with dishes, loaded in it, food on the counter in fridge and in freezer. Across the main room, there were little pieces of mud, dried mud probably came out of shoes with large treads and tracked through to kitchen.Call the host, Patrick and talk to him. He didn’t know why the house was in such disarray. He did not offer any solutions. I had to press him for solutions. He didn’t offer to call the housekeeper. He stated that him and his wife lived an hour away I don’t know if I said we could clean it or he said we could clean it, I did ask him how he could comp us, he offered to waive the cleaning fee and offered to wave one night. I hope at the very least this happens for us. He seemed more worried that they weren’t going to break even, than we were in this mess.We bought laundry detergent. 3 loads. Cleaned and sanitized everything
Everything is wrote in the above comment I had to quit typing. So we couldn’t go register. We were in town for a college reunion. We cleaned instead and then got ourselves over there and showered, unchanged from the road trip.
There’s a layer of dust on top of the water heater and a layer of dust on top of the refrigerator. The outside area there’s a glass table that’s covered with dust and it’s been wet and it’s messy. It wouldn’t be able to be used by anyone.
This house could really use a very deep cleaning. It looks like it’s probably being surface cleaned.
We had additional pictures of food on the counter and trash on the stove, but I could only upload 8. Haven’t heard from the host again not a call to see how we were doing or a message. Nothing has changed price wise. There’s no credit on my CC.

Thomas, thank you for your feedback, and again we sincerely apologize for this oversight in cleanings between stays. This has never happened before so we were also quite caught off guard. We agree this was an unexpected and unfortunate situation. We disagree about on the comment about not offering a solution. It was offered without pressure. It's also unfortunate and saddening to us that we agreed to, and DID, discount the stay by 50% and waive your cleaning fee altogether for the inconvenience only to still receive such a poor rating. We understand things could have been better, but feel we were quite generous. Again, our apologies. Take care!
