Had fun again

We,ve stayed at this home 4 times already. We definitely had fun again but we were disappointed as the spa jets did not work at all the whole 2 weeks we were there even though we let the property manager know the 1st day. Also the pool didn’t circulate the whole 2nd week even though we let them know as soon as it stopped. The home needs some minor updates otherwise too. An it would be great again!

Fun vacation home! Definitely ran into issues.

We stayed here for 9 nights. We definitely ran into quite a few issues, so I cannot give them a full 5 star rating. We had issues with the pool heater, the water feature and night lights not working at the pool, the ac was broken on the middle level, and we had a few issues with some of the games working. It also took a while to get a response for the issues we reported. However, it was still a nice place to gather as family, and since we spent every other day at the Disney parks, it did the job!

Perfect Multigenerational Vacation- Theme Parks Not Necessary

We had family members from 2-88 with vastly different sleep schedules, and some working from the house at times. We were pleasantly surprised by the insulation. Even from the bedroom adjacent to the theater room, you couldn’t hear the loud movie playing. The pool area could not have been any better. The peaceful view out back from the pool(the same from the kitchen/living area) is very relaxing. It felt like a private resort and we hardly noticed neighbors on either side. We rarely left the house and would have enjoyed staying longer had it been available. We wanted a home large enough to accommodate family meals, to have something fun for everyone, and to be able to make special memories. This last minute booking was perfect for us. Thanks so much to Jamie for being so responsive, and answering every single question we had.

Great home that needs TLC

While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few issues. Only I roll of toilet paper was in each bathroom. No spare toilet paper or paper towels were in the residence. Considering we had a 10 day rental and for the price, there should have been a supply. There also was no tissues in the house. The elevator was out of service and that was one of the reasons we chose the house for an elderly relative. The basketball/garage could use a paint job. We had to call after the second day because there is no hot water through the house. The on demand system does not work for a house that size. Lastly, the pool was filthy. A service came twice but only to dump chemicals, they never vacuumed it. There is algae in numerous areas of the pool.

Beautiful Home, but Poorly Maintained

This home is beautiful, and was a great fit for our family. The pool is wonderful, and the bedrooms are all roomy. That said, the positive aspects stop there. The biggest problem was a lack of hot water. Not just "not hot enough" - many showers were absolutely cold. We notified the management company on the first night, and nobody showed up to try and address the issue until day 4 of our stay. When the plumbing technician showed up, we learned from him that he had been to the house a week ago, for the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. That begs the question why the management company wouldn't address a known problem either prior to our visit, or as soon as possible. In the end, the "fixes" from the technician didn't last, and the shower situation in the home was miserable. The tech commented that the on-demand water heaters were likely inadequate for the home, combined with other plumbing issues. The cleanliness of the home was absolutely lacking. When we arrived, we found hair in sinks, counters that weren't clean, and floors that were filthy. The carpet and rugs in the home absolutely have not been cleaned anytime recently, and quite frankly were disgusting. The game rooms were fun, but are another area where maintenance is being ignored. The skee-ball machine had a lighting fixture hanging loose, and it is held in place by nothing more than Scotch tape. Two of the electronic games had fans that were loudly rattling, and probably need to be replaced. Whether is is driven by the owner or the management company, this home is neglected. It's too bad, because the home has so much potential.

Thank you for your kind words on how beautiful our home is. I'm so glad it was exactly the size you needed for your large family. I'm also glad you enjoyed the outside amenities, the pool and hot tub are great! I want to apologize for anything being less then perfect for you. The local management company should have been out to you sooner I agree, but in our defense as soon as you contacted me personally via email I immediately contacted the management company and they scheduled the plumber. Yes, we had a plumbing issue with some of the showers, we had the plumber out several times and tried a couple different things that was thought to be wrong. We were not ignoring the problem by any means, quite the opposite actually, we worked diligently to get the problem resolved. I'm sorry if you were given false information by someone, but I was assured from 2 different certified plumbers that our 2 tankless hot water heaters are absolutely adequate for our home. On another note, I heard from you on the day of check-in when you reported a pink cleaning solution stain on the carpet in one of the bedrooms and at that time you did not mention anything about the cleanliness of the home. I got the cleaning company out to you right away for the carpet stain and they would have taken care of any other cleaning issues had you mentioned them to me. I cannot resolve an issue that I know nothing about. I cannot recall ever having a cleaning complaint at our home, no one is perfect and yes mistakes are made, but our cleaning company has always met our extremely high cleaning standards. Thank you for pointing out a few other minor things in the game room that need maintaining, as you can image with as busy as the house stays we are always repairing/replacing items. Fun Vacation

Overall the house was as expected from the pictures and talking with the property manager. A couple of things did not work as expected. THE POOL and JACUZZI were cold and not heated as communicated so that was a bummer. The Whole-Home Sound system would not connect and the Cable TV was not working properly. As listed in other reviews the neighbor across the street is un-friendly. The Waterpark at the resort was great for the kids and was not busy during the week!! The space was big enough for our large family

Amazing getaway with friends and family!

We just got back from our stay at this amazing home. We had a mix of kids 2-10 as well as adults and the house was perfect, clean, better than pictured and everyone had a wonderful time! It was in a great location in reunion resort, close to fun kid attractions and had more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. Days were spent at the pool with an amazing water slide (kids did not get sick of this for the 5 days we were there!), followed by delicious dinners on the outdoor patio, movie nights for the kids and lots of fun in the game room. I can’t wait to go back. The owner was wonderful and super responsive, before, during and after our stay. We will be back!

We had an amazing time. There were some minor things broken which was annoying. Management did come out to fix it but not everything was completely fixed. (Outside fridge, elevator was not working) Other than that it was an awesome house which we would stay again!!!!

Beautiful home

We had 14 people stay in this home and we all had our own space when needed. This home appears EXACTLY as the pictures on the VRBO site. We (all 14 family members)are planning to do another trip to WD, Jan 2022, and we would not hesitate to stay in this home again. Jamie, the property manager, was a delight to deal with and any questions we had, she was "on the ball" to get them answered and to make sure our stay at this home, was what it should be... Beautiful home. Just needs more attention to general maintenance

This is a lovely home represented accurately in photos. My correspondence with Jamie through the HomeAway email was excellent. She was immediate in her responses. Gave accurate info and was extremely helpful and accommodating. The only issues arise with the general maintenance-or lack thereof- for this sized home. Several hiccups generally dig into the pleasure of our 10 day stay. For example there was no ps4. We contacted the property manager the same day but got no response. The next day, we reached out to Jaimie and she handled the issue. The pool and backyard area is really nice but the maintenance guys did not clean the pool. Rather brought to the surface all the dirt/ leaves in the pool. Also they didn’t hose down the patio as they indicate in the manual. Generally the ‘cleanliness ‘ of the home is mediocre at best. Blankets in the closets didn’t smell freshly cleaned and same with bedsheets and pillow cases. The side of the house that housed the garbage containers had some garbage items strewn on the ground. Considering it’s the way the maintenance people accessed the backyard there was no effort to clean up Also the first floor air conditioning was at times uncomfortably cold and at the same time the 3rd floor was 82 degrees. The maintenance guy didn’t rectify the problem so my kids had to move to other bedrooms. The biggest disappointment for my four teenage kids was the basketball court in the garage. The rim was angled down and the maintenance guy said they had fixed it too many times so they didn’t have a fix for it. Really it needed to have reinforced bolts. At the end of it all we were there to enjoy ourselves and we just sort of succumbed to these hiccups because we didn’t want our experience to be all about these inconveniences. I hope these minor concerns can be addressed for true enjoyment of this beautiful home.

The home was great, it met all our needs for our family to spend quality time together during the Thanksgiving Holiday! Enjoyed cooking together as a family, poolside, fire pit at night and watching the college football games together! If we needed anything, we just called Magical Vacation Homes and they assisted us in a very timely manner. Thank you as our entire family of 27 had an awesome holiday and look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful house and perfect location

I stayed here in July 2018 for three weeks with family and friends coming and going. The house is located perfectly without neighbor on one side and above a small lake with lots of wildlife. Short distance to all Orlando attractions. The house is huge and with many great activities for the children, including two gaming rooms, a basketball court and a lovely pool. I met the owner myself in Norway (where I am from) and he gave a very good impression and the service from his staff before and during our visit has been great. On the downside the service company which handles the property where a bit slow to get back to us, but with the help from the owners we were able to fix most things. Beautiful house and furnishings - support management was disappointing

The house is beautiful with great furnishings and features. We were a little disappointed with the fact that there was a button to press before you could go out to the pool area or return from the pool area. Apparently this is a Florida law but very aggravating. This was not explained in the introductory material so alarms were activated when we checked in and we had to call the management firm to learn how to turn the alarm off. We were disappointed that the trash had accumulated on the side of the house from the prior residents and we had to empty it and deal with a messy situation. When we called the management firm, they promised to send someone out to repair some minor issues but they never did. The house, however, was amazing with great features such as the pool, the theater room, the game rooms, a great kitchen, plenty of laundry capability and great refrigeration and freezer space. The air conditioning was hard to manage and was generally cooler than we preferred, but again the management group did not show up so we dealt with it during the week we were there. There was no clarification of the television and dvr capability in any of the material provided so we had to try to figure it out for ourselves. Televison reception in several of the rooms was spotty. A visit from the management group could have solved the issue. I would strongly recommend the facilities and suggest that the owner evaluate the management firm handling the house.
