As explained during our exchanges, snow-removal contracts in the area begin only after November 15. We took the initiative of contacting the contractor on November 14 so he could assist during your stay, and he came on the 15 to assess the conditions. Because there was a thin layer of ice underneath the first snowfall, he had to leave a light layer of snow to provide traction and to avoid damaging the driveway. This allowed for safe access to the chalet the following day. We also left the contractor’s contact information at the property so guests can coordinate their departure time if needed. He returned on Sunday morning as planned, but unfortunately it seems you had already checked out by then. Regarding the water at the end of your stay, the pump had simply switched into an error mode. Something that can occasionally happen when an artesian well runs low. The system was reset and is functioning normally.
