This was our first visit to Puerto Rico. Our stay was excellent. Really enjoyed the location and the ease of exploring Old San Juan. We especially enjoyed our morning walks along the city walls. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing vacation. The property is beautiful. So close to many stores, restaurants, and not too far from El Morro. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The loveliest colonial style, eclectic art filled home in a quiet, residential area of Old San Juan. Haydee was a kind & informative host - I truly appreciated her thoughtful dining & cocktail recommendations & especially loved La Madre and St Germain Bistro. The verdant courtyard is the center & star of the home, so peaceful & welcoming. Iâm a sucker for a great shower while traveling & I was not disappointed. The location was only a short walk to many places of interest, including Castillos San CristĂłbal & San Felipe del Morro. I ran to El EscambrĂłn beach, which was lovely and not overly crowded. I cannot recommend this jewel of a home enough - & look forward to returning as soon as I can.
We had an amazing stay at Lincoln Center on Calle Del Sol! It was so clean and we loved the indoor-outdoor living. It is very centrally located but quiet at night. We will be back soon! Thank you Haydee
Beautiful Property in a Romantic part of Old San Juan. Close to everything in Old San Juan
This property was perfectly set in the beautiful historic Old San Juan. Only minutes walk to all the local attractions. My family loved its authentic feel, The host was very responsive and meet us on property to give us insights to restaurants and local sites. I highly recommend this location. Perfect for my family.
Loads of charm, great location, and excellent communication from the host. We loved this space so much! Plenty of room for our family of four. Well provisioned for food prep and cooking, and just a short walk to the grocery. 10/10 property, I canât imagine better accommodations for a stay in Old San Juan.
The apartment is perfect. It has everything youâd need from the kitchen supplies, to beach towels, to a comfortable bed with air conditioning, ideally located for a visit to Old San Juan. Beyond that, the feeling of the place is inspired. The art work, the interior courtyard, just everything felt right. We were sorry to leave.
Haydee is a wonderful hostess
Her home is located wonderfully in Old San Juan
However, the hot water heater was out and the roof leaks
Cold showers on vacation with friends and leaking roofs, was not what we expected as we brought our friends to a new location to show off a remarkable location
This is an old property, described accurately. It is well positioned and is an especially good value comparatively speaking. I wouldn't plan to spend hours "at home" but as a place to start your day with a cup of coffee in the courtyard and return at days end to sleep it was perfect. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Check other properties to appreciate the value.
Lovely place! Pictures are accurate, the place is quaint, cozy and has lots of charm and character, yet very spacious for a party of 4. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there is no TV.Close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Located on a quiet street, Haydee was a great host, came to meet us as soon as we arrived and even checked on us the following day. Please read all of her recommendations and pointers which are found in her emails and a binder in the propertyâs. I highly recommend this property.
Loved everything about the surroundings. Nice layout with open-air atrium. Could hear birds chirping from atrium. This atrium connects to master bedroom, which is very comfortable. All other rooms on main floor so it would be easy for someone with mobility issues to stay here. Gorgeous artwork throughout, very tasteful furnishings and everything needed for kitchen. Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms - maybe more with young kids.
Most of all, this place is within easy walking distance (about 5 minutes) to main tourist sites but the neighborhood is quiet and two streets over from where all the shops and restaurants are. Just lovely!
We had a great time! Host was a great communicator, met us at the property as she lives next door. Showed us around, went through the map with us pointing out favorite spots for us to try and checked in throughout our week stay. We had a later flight and she allowed us to leave our luggage for a bit instead of dragging it around town with us on our last day. We also had a minor incident of breaking something on accident within the property. She was very gracious and understanding about it. Would recommend and stay again! The only thing to note is there is no screen, door or anything between the open air patio and the rest of the house. Bugs were not an issue though which I am grateful for.
This Veijo San Juan home was absolutely perfect in every way. Situated in the residential area in the NE quad of Veijo San Juan near San Cristobal, it was extremely quiet and peaceful, with very little auto traffic as the street is calm and narrow. Itâs truly in a beautiful location with easy fast access to main roads from the nearby parking garage (no street parking).
Inside, the home is something of a wonder. Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable furniture and beds, large open spaces with high ceilings, two complete bathroomsâone on each end of the home. Dissecting the home in half is an open air courtyard filled with live plants and a fountain. The kitchen is open to this area. The layout is super ideal for two couples, or adult family travel with two good sized bedrooms that each have a bathroom and are on opposite ends of the home. Itâs great for privacy! The kitchen is well equipped and more than enough. The fridge is ice cold! And the artwork throughout, and architecture, is so pleasing and interesting that itâs a joy to step back in for the night. Our host was so kind and generous with her time and her communication excellent! The home has everything you need, and it feels so personal. I would choose this home again and again. My adult son and I truly had a magnificent stay!
Five great female friends/sisters/niece decided on a trip. Quaint Colonial was the perfet place. We were able to enyoyed the local beaches, sights, shopping and restaurant then return to a most relaxing, fun home. We loved the center courtyard with the hammock and outdoor kitchen. We slept 2 per bed plus Haydee supplied a single blow up mattress that was perfect. It was tucked out of the way in a small room; stayed perfectly inflated and was very cozy. Check-in and out was incredibly simple. There were no outragous house rule, just simple respect for neighbors and property. Haydee was readily available via text/phone if necessary.
Note about the area: Cell service is spotty at the beaches/forest area. If you are traveling via uber/taxi, make sure you have pre-arranged return transportation. We came across 2 groups that were desperate for return transport.
Great Location, wonderfully charming 1st floor apartment!!
Easy check in. Wonderful two bedroom, 2 bath apartment.
So quintesential Old San Juan charm. We loved the court yard and all of the conforts of home.
We would definetly stay there again!!

This home has authentic old Puerto Rican character within easy walking distance of everything in old San Juan. Despite its age, it was very comfortable. The host was very helpful and replied quickly.
We did not have a car, which is a good thing because parking would be very challenging!
Beautiful old Spanish colonial home with a leafy internal courtyard & walls covered in interesting art. Great jumping-off point to explore old San Juan. Everything within walking distance. My only complaint ⊠there was a party on the final night of our stay (I couldnât work out where it was coming from .. possibly the neighbors.) I didnât sleep until 1.30am, but thankfully my kids didnât wake up. It was quiet for the rest of the time.
I am from Puerto Rico and live in Old San Juan. I spent most of my time between my house in Old San Juan and the countryside which allow me to always be in beautiful natural surroundings. I am fortunate to live in this unique place within its history, colonial architecture and best of all great community. Love to share it with you!
This house is very unique as you will be able to enjoy all the colonial architecture elements of a late 1700 hundred home built by the spaniards. High ceilings with Ausubo beams, checkered floor, open kitchen with two beautiful archways to the courtyard, interior courtyard, soles truncos, and even an underground cistern underneath the patio used to collect rain water.
