Fall asleep to the sound of a rushing creek in this charming and secluded yurt.
Enjoy outdoor dining next to a seasonal waterfall, and watch butterflies and hummingbirds in our wildflower garden during the summer.
Winter guests will experience a cozy fire in the pellet stove, and our year-round creek.
If our chickens are feeling generous, you may find some farm fresh eggs waiting for you in the kitchen, and there will always be a complimentary bar of handmade soap in the bathroom.
The cozy space features 1 queen bed with a twin over top, and a twin pull out trundle, perfect for a small group of guests. With amenities like AC, heating, and WiFi, you'll feel right at home. The bathroom includes a shower, and there's an additional living room space with a sofa bed for extra relaxation.
Experience what Buhl has to offer with a stay at our creekside yurt.
Great property! The only things we had issues with are that there were leftovers in the refrigerator from someone else, and the yurt had roly poly bugs invade the bathroom during the night. We know it is a yurt! Overall great stay!
This yurt was a delightful spot for an overnight stay on our way from SE Washington state to Boulder, CO. It was so much more unique than any of the freeway motels along the freeway.Although it may look small from the outside, it is VERY spacious inside: A nice living room, a well-furnished kitchen, a bedroom that can sleep 4 (thereâs also a sofa bed in the living room), and a nice bathroom. Only the living room and the kitchen share a common space. The bedroom has extra insulation (more than the yurt fabric) to keep the room quieter. We talked to the owner briefly (very nice gentleman) â I think he told us the yurt was still a âwork in progressâ but if it is, it must be at 98 or 99% complete! The yurt is secluded across a small stream from the ownerâs farm. The area is gorgeous countryside with rolling hills, trees, and pastures, with bluffs in the distance. We took a delightful walk along the adjacent country road before we left in the morning. The small town of Buhl is a short drive away and provides several options for dinner (probably breakfast, too; we went on to Twin Falls for breakfast). We had dinner at La Cabanita Mex restaurant in Buhl which was superb. The owner of the yurt recommended the Danteâs Inferno food truck in Buhl but it was closed both in the evening and the next morning.Bottom line: Highly Recommended!
My family and I had an excellent stay. It was quiet, and private and slept very well. And it wasnât far from the creamery lol. If you stay here, you should stop there for sure.
This was a wonderful surprise tucked in a cozy corner with the sounds of water running in the creek behind the yurt. It is peaceful and quiet with so much more space and freedom than a hotel could give.
Such a relaxing and private feel. Josh was immediately responsive with any issues we had. Beautiful setting and Buhl was a great little town to explore in the morning.
This yurt truly was magical! I am a woman who traveled alone with my chihuahuas and felt totally safe. It was such a beautiful spot. I have Verizon and had no cell phone signal but the WiFi was awesome and I was able to use it for phone service. I do suggest you bring a white noise machine, it's no fault to the host but the neighbors (who should not be allowed to have a dog) left their dog outside in the freezing cold to bark ALL NIGHT LONG. I was able to sleep fine though with my white noise machine. Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful views it was a great time!
It was quaint and nice. The water around the property was a bonus. The neighbors dogs were a little loud at times but they were doing their job keeping the coyotes away.
We loved the wildflower patch and streamside stay in the little yurt. Falling asleep with the water flowing right outside and coziness of the yurt make it definitely worth the stay!
