Enjoyed our stay a lot! Big bied with a small sitting room gave us, a couple in town for a wedding, a great experience. Place was close to town and easily walkable to downtown.
The owners were very accommodating and gave great suggestions for places to eat. The check-in and out was very easy. The house was very quiet and we just loved our seaside suite! It had everything we needed except ice. But James brought us a baggie of ice when we asked. It isnât in the heart of the town but it is walkable if you are in decent shape. We walked most everywhere and used the free hop on bus which was a lifesaver! We ate at The Hungry Monkey for breakfast and it was great! The Mooring was great for dinner but make sure you get reservations. Itâs on the water. Cold fusion was a delicious gelato place. It was a great trip and I would recommend you go!
Location was great for getting on the free shuttle, shopping and wharf . Apartment was clean with many amenities for beach . Would stay again when in the area.
Comfy, cozy upper private room with bathroom and sitting area in a perfect location to walk to many of the Newport highlights. We would definitely stay again.
The pictures of the place were spot on. Nicely appointed and decorated and so convenient to catch a meal or a trolley around town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was a cute little quaint place just enough for 2 people. The hosts were wonderful and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Just a short walk to Thames St, the water and all the great restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely recommend it!
Wonderful find for a two night stay in Newport. The amenities, decor and location were all perfect! Very walkable location. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay again sometime.
We really enjoyed staying at Seaside Retreat. It was an easy walk to Thames St and all the best bars, shops and restaurants but far enough away that it was also super quiet and relaxing. The property is small but very clean and decorated well. Would definitely stay here again.
James & Keverne are native to New England. Came to Aquidneck Island from Nantucket Island to settle in 2004. After raising 4 daughters they are content to permanently reside in beautiful Newport.
