This was the best rental we have ever stayed in! The amenities and cleanliness were two things that stuck out to us right away. We went for a girls weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The home had everything we needed and more! The hosts had great recommendations for places to try and the town of Vergas was great! If you are considering booking this stay, do it - you will not regret it!

We gathered at the beautiful Sybil Haus for a family reunion and it far exceeded our expectations. We all gave it the highest possible marks in every area- the impeccable design, comfortable bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, and truly everything. Our family will definitely return in the future! Our family made many new wonderful memories during our stay at Sybil Haus!We fully enjoyed all the amenities. The grandkids spent hours in the sparkling pool and were thrilled to catch so many fish off the dock. There were 10 of us and we appreciated the spread out private bedrooms/bathrooms. Our family loves to cook, the kitchen was a dream!We highly recommend staying here!

The home was beautiful, family friendly, everything you need. Pet friendly which we appreciate very much. The grandkids enjoyed the hot tub very much and their own bedroom space to hang out! Perfect couldn't ask for more.

I can’t think of a single thing that could possibly improve this place. They have thought of everything and everything they have done was done purpose down to the tiniest detail. This is our second visit and certainly wint be our last.

Everything was to perfection and so many fantastic amenities in the house. The hosts were accomodating, friendly, and had great instructions/recommendations in their host book. We will be returning next winter!

This place is utterly amazing! I stay at vacation rentals 3-6 times a year and this is hands down the best place I’ve stayed at. From the luxurious house to all of the amenities to every single detail - the hosts did not skimp on their place. Would recommend to everyone. You will NOT be disappointed.

This house is not only beautiful and spacious but the owners have stocked it with everything you could need. It was the perfect location for a large family gathering for our mother’s birthday celebration. I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay. There was so much thoughtfulness put into the property. Everyone had fun and felt comfortable which is a big deal with 12 people. We loved it.

The property exceeded all expectations. The host couple literally provided every amenity necessary for a perfect vacation. The home is family friendly and the kids spent hours in the pool. We cannot wait for our next visit.

The Sybil Haus was amazing! The hosts thought through all aspects of what guests may need, there were ample rooms and spaces to enjoy different activities, and the communication from the hosts was prompt and welcoming. The lake was beautifully clear and quiet. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were fantastic, as well! Plenty of sleeping options and space for large families/groups to gather. The Sybil Haus and the hosts exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend this property!

Our stay was amazing - absolutely everything stood out as a 10/10. The hosts communicated perfectly, and they left detailed instructions for everything in the house. The amenities in the house were incredible. The hot tub was great, we loved the sauna, and the house was equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen. The bedrooms were so clean and fit everyone perfectly. We all slept so well, and comfortably. This house is the perfect spot for a girls weekend, a family gathering, or any other get together where you want to spend quality time with loved ones.

Perfection

We knew from the photos this gorgeous place was going to be awesome trip, but the photos don’t do it justice because it was so much more. Everything felt like it was designed and chosen to celebrate family and to enjoy being together. After staying here, our entire family voted to cancel next year’s vacation location as they would rather come back here every year. I guess it’s now a family tradition.

Staying at this lake home was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our host had thought through every detail to make the experience next level. The attention to detail was unmatched. Everything was intentional, welcoming, and designed for comfort.The home itself is incredibly spacious, providing everyone with plenty of room to relax and enjoy, while still maintaining a warm and connected atmosphere. The amenities were the best I’ve ever experienced at a VRBO, from the kitchen setup to the little touches throughout the home; it felt like a perfect balance of luxury and thoughtfulness.The lake setting added to the magic, making it an ideal place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty all around. This was more than just a place to stay. it was an experience we will cherish and want to revisit again and again.

Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) that you could possibly need was at this rental property. If you've ever stayed at a rental property before with a kitchen, you know that the kitchen is usually stocked with the bare basics gathered from a thrift store. NOT the case here! They had all the serving ware you could need, pots, pans, knives, even a kitchenaid mixer, an ice cream maker, crock pots, blenders, parchment paper, tin foil, the list goes on and on. It was amazing!. Even a whole drawer full of spices for the us to use! And that's just the kitchen the whole place was like that, from beach towels, to games, to 3 fridges, all with ice makers, 2 ovens, a 6 burner stove. It's truly impressive the lengths they went to in order to make sure their guests were well taken care of.

We had a 5-star week at Sybil Haus vacationing with our extended family. The house is well-equipped to entertain and we felt like we had our own spa while using the pool/hot tub/sauna and all the beautiful spaces. The owners were responsive to any questions we had and any issues were quickly resolved by them or the caretaker that lived nearby and frequently checked on the pool. It rained quite a bit during our week so the only negative was that the firepit area was pretty muddy and we didn’t use it much. The beach area also is a work in progress but we enjoyed the pool most days so it wasn’t an issue for our group. They were still able to catch fish from the dock and off the boat we rented for a few days.Overall it’s an amazing place to stay and would be perfect for your larger group to spend their MN lake vacation. We enjoyed some local places - Spanky’s/Skal/Otter Coffee and several shops. Also ventured to Detroit Lakes and found lots of goodies there too.
