This property is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet area. It is spacious even for 6 people. The use of the kayaks was a plus.

Hey Jamia, im sorry this was your experience. Mountains in this area are very common and this home isnt located in a steep area , there is a mountain that you have to go down if you choose that route however there is another route that takes you around the mountain . This is honestly the first complaint we have gotten about the area . Its such a beautiful area but I can understand how the mountain may not be for every one ! Im glad that besides that you guys enjoyed your stay ! If you are ever in the area again please remember us for your next stay and ill gladly send you the directions to take you the other way !

This place was amazing. Very spacious. Very clean and comfortable. We had 4 grandkids with us. They loved fishing and kayaking on the lake. I loved the view. This is my favorite rental yet! We will be back!

Beautiful Vacation House

The house was very clean and is well maintained. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there was only a half a roll of paper towels and only one extra trash bag and we were there for 4 days, not a big deal though. Overall, great place to stay!

We always leave guests with paper towels , 2 trash bags , toilet paper , laundry detergent & dish washer pods to get started with for their stay as a kind gesture, however in our listening it does not state that we provide all necessities for your entire stay . It’s just something we do as an extra bonus . Thank you so much for your review, I’m very happy that you had a wonderful stay .

The places was clean and spacious, plenty of room for my family of five. There were a few things that didn’t work like the tv remotes and coffee maker. The location was beautiful! Other than the small imperfections the property and area was beautiful.

Amazing Lake House Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lakefront Carriage House. The house was very clean. Check in was smooth and simple. The property manager was amazing: she responded promptly and was very friendly. This location is beautiful and in a peaceful neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for a drifting event at Talledega Grand Prix Raceway. There was plenty of parking for our truck, enclosed trailer & another vechile. It was less than an hour to the track. Being on the water was perfect for starting and ending our days there. The host was great ansewering questions and providing information timely. I will mention it is an upstairs apartment above a detached garage. But other than the stairs you would never know you were above a garage. Will book this again when in the area.

Stay With A View

We found the listing description was accurate. We did not use the washer and dryer, but the property had a nice laundry room. The house is convenient to a Publix grocery store. Parking garage for 1 vehicle. Two smaller decks that you may enjoy with nice views Storage was amazing if one needed to store suitcases etc during your stay. Seating arrangement was very inviting for conversation. We would recommend the property,

Family Wedding

The property manager, Lexi, was simply fantastic. Before we arrived, Steve was great giving us good information about the area. Once we got there, there was extreme storm and tornado warnings that Lexi walked us through. We are from Idaho and have absolutely no experience preparing for or even monitoring extreme weather events like this. Lexi brought us water and additional snacks and some lanterns in case the power went out. She also told us when and where to go for a storm shelter if necessary. The house was fantastic, a really nice and safe place to be. We did not have to leave during the storm and we had a great stay. We were there for a family wedding and had hoped to get around the area to see some sights. We did have time to find some good southern food in the area. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Beautiful location and very quiet but needs maintenance

The carriage house is in a beautiful location and very quiet. The property manager, Lexi, was very easy to reach and helpful in getting problems resolved. However, we had issues with the Roku remotes (master was missing), the internet quit working 2 or 3 times over 2 days (Lexi did get it back up for us as soon as you could), we went to use the washer and dryer and found a wet comforter in the washer and damp towels in the dryer. I took those out to do one load of wash, set the washer on cold, and it used the hottest water I've ever seen instead (the clothes were steaming when I removed them). Put them in the dryer and it ran for 30 minutes and shut off, the clothes were cold and wet. I tried other settings and the dryer would not heat up at all. We had to hang the clothes around the bedroom to dry. There were other maintenance issues (shelves broken in fridge, light above stove doesn't work, toilet makes a loud squealing noise in master throughout the night). Just some general maintenance would be great for your guests!

Hey Anne ! I’m sorry that you had so many issues during your stay . You never mentioned anything about the dryer not working nor any issue with the washer. I wish that had been something you mentioned so that I could have gotten it taken care of . Thank you for the review and I will definitely get these other things taken care of .
