We had a great time during our stay fishing, swimming, and lounging inside and out. House was spacious and clean, and even better than advertised. Sauna was a definite bonus. Beds were very comfortable. It was also stocked with everything we needed, and was easily the best furnished rental we have ever stayed. Deck area is large and perfect for spending time outside. Lake location was also really nice. We would definitely recommend this property, and would stay here again.
The property was clean, gorgeous and comfortable. The property was fully stocked for young children with childrenâs utensils, cups, plates, high chair, travel crib/pack and play & tons of toys! Such a gorgeous view to wake up to!! 10/10 would recommend this property & would totally return! The hosts are super responsive also!
House was clean, description was accurate. It is a beautiful house with lots of room. Location was perfect for us to ride side by side as itâs right off the trails. Communication from owners was good. Will stay here again!
This was the perfect location. Quick drives to Walker and Park Rapids for all the fun shops. The house was on a quiet lake. Perfectly sunny mornings. The house has a lot of space, master bedroom on main level with the other 3 bedrooms down the spiral staircase. Everything was very clean with all the adiquiye supplies. We really enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful house in a great location and well furnished. The listing did have some easily fixable issues. First - this house is one of least accessible house I've ever seen. That's fine for most people, but make sure you list it. Specifically the house has:- An uneven walk from parking to the front door (with some steps). - Stairs to between main entry way to living room. Stars from main entry way to master bed room where bathroom is located- Master bedroom bed is on a platform with step and the light switches are in the entryway of the room (not near the bed) which requires stepping up in the dark- New England style circular stairs from main entryway to the lower floor- Stairs from lower floor sleeping area to lower floor living area.No mention of any of these stairs, in particular the main floor to main floor sleeping area or master bedroom platform was mentioned.Second - while the home is equipped with watercraft for use (a paddleboat and two kayaks) there are no life vests provided. We did ask the owner about life vests and he acknowledged there were none on site.Otherwise our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.
Spacious, comfortable mid-century modern lakehouse with all the modern touches needed for a relaxing stay. The home is close to Minnesotaâs Heartland Trail and the charming towns it intersects - Nevis, Akeley, and Walker. The traditional Finnish sauna was a personal favorite! Zach and Kali are responsive and helpful hosts.
