Cozy 2 bedroom Seasonal Cottage located on Chippewa Bay, on St. Lawrence River
Enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the deck, listen for the occasional wail of the loon locating it's mate or just enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet neighborhood. Bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks, etc private boat dock available. Enjoy excellent fishing for perch, bass, walleye and muskie.
We had everything we could possibly need and more. It was the perfect size for our family of three. We had a place to dock our boat, a lovely fire pit, and bbq for grilling. I had my dad and friends over for dinner and our hosts were so kind and put up a tent and table for us to use. I highly recommended this little slice of heaven for a relaxing trip!
We stayed a week. Had everything we needed which was great since I didnât realize how much stuff I would actually need. The kids loved playing in the yard and finding âcamping stuffâ (sticks), loved putting their feet in the water. It was very convenient being so close to everything as well. The hill to get down was a little nerve racking but the kid thought it was fun. Overall was fun.
We stayed a week and loved everything about the Hosts and cabin. Very clean and very accommodating . If you forgot to bring it, Dawn probably already has is there for you. Water, snacks, coffee, storage bags, you name it. They check in to make sure everything is ok, even give you places to try fishing. They truly are the best hosts we have ever had. I highly recommend a stay at their cabin. Water access is just a few steps away.
Although it was a bit difficult to find, due to no exact address, it was a cute little cabin/tiny house to stay in. Beds were super comfortable and fire pit was well used, would definitely recommend and we may just come back next year!
I'm from Lyons, New York and work at Newark Wayne Community Hospital as a Unit Secretary. I love to fish, craft, and can seasonal items. I like being a host as you get to meet new and interesting people; and we have a second cottage available to rent out.
My husband's grandparents bought the properties in the 1950's. As my husband says, "Thank God for grandparents" So the grandparents chose the neighborhood and they couldn't have done any better. Neighbors are friendly, quiet, mostly retired and the view is amazing.
