This beautiful property is perfectly situated to provide rural peace with the conveniences of St.John minutes away. Day trips are easy with Fredricton, Moncton and StJohn easily accessible. Our sleeps were great, beds are cozy with tons of space, storage and comfort. Dining was made easy with the kitchen which boasted all the comforts of home. Each evening we enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water, then moving into the sitting room where family conversations flowed in comfort. A short drive down the road brought us to picturesque Musquach lighthouse...a must do! A huge thanks ....such a great gem of a place to stay! We hope to be back!

Team of our conservators stayed whilst working on a heritage building in town. Stay was fantastic and Paul was very easy to communicate with during our stay. Look forward to staying during our next visit.

Exactly what we wanted and reserved. Unfortunately, the basement had been rented and the listing changed after we reserved, so we were unprepared to share the property. Very clean, and very near everything you could want, and the view from the deck is amazing!

Lorneville Escape Very Private Vacation Property

Our family stayed at the property while visiting family in Saint John. The property is 15 minutes from Saint John centre and provides easy accessibility to many amenities within Saint John and is only a short drive from St. Andrew’s. If you are looking a central location for day trips along the Bay of Fundy look no further. The hosts are very helpful and responsive.

Kudos to Lorneville bungalow

Our delightful large bungalow, near St. John, was located on a large lot right on the Bay of Fundy. We enjoyed the mesmerizing tides and the sounds of blowing leaves. Very tired from our long drive, we settled into our lovely setting, home for a week. All rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped; we felt pampered. We savoured some meals and coffee/wine on the huge deck overlooking the Bay at both sunrise and sunset. Although it was intended as a base for us to get out for day trips, we loved being there; it was hard to leave after our week’s stay.

Better than any hotel

I was traveling with my mom and adult daughter. This was the perfect place. Serene location with gorgeous views! Easy to get in and out of the city. The house is comfortable and well appointed. There's plenty of space for together time or quiet time. I would highly recommend this house.

You won't find anything better

Our group spent 2 nights. Only wish is that we had longer to stay! Fabulous view in a quiet neighborhood. 10 minutes to the downtown area and close proximity to restaurants and shops. Property is clean and well appointed. Hosts are pleasant to deal with and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view

Paul was very prompt on response time. However the the house had everything you needed. Beautiful back yard view of Bay of Fundy! Super safe neighborhood. Didn't feel like a VRBO. Stayed here for work 9 days and if ever out this way again would stay again. I don't leave reviews, like ever... This place def. Deserves one, would highly recommend! Cheers Paul on a wonderful propert and hitting everything spot on :)

Trip to Saint John

Stayed at this property for a week in May, we were 8 adults and two children under 2. Great hosts, always a quick reply to any questions we had. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, beautifully decorated, a huge deck with a BBQ. The view was spectacular, with beautiful sun rises. The location was perfect, nice quiet neighborhood and only about 15 minutes to the city. I highly recommend.

Good location, clean and well equipped

Responsive and kind property owner. House is well equipped with all the things you need. Huge and new washer & dryer. A/C heat pumps, great view with easy access beach. Would love to see more hand towels for the kitchen, but that’s minor. Location is great, easy 10-15 minutes to St. John, 1 hour to St. Andrew’s by the Sea, 50 minutes to Sea Caves in St, Martin. Black Sand Beach 10 minutes away was peaceful and very cool. This was our first trip to New Brunswick and we will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem! Fantastic hosts!

This house was clean, welcoming, and very warm! Super tastefully decorated and Paul was incredibly accommodating and responsive to our needs. The hosts thought of everything! We were impressed with all the little details like Q-tips, and a flashlight, even saran wrap, lol. The house is in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views! We enjoyed many hours on their deck and in the back yard. It’s located just 10 minutes from the heart of Saint John and there was lots to do. We truly enjoyed relaxing in the two different living rooms, and the beds were super comfortable! The house was spotless when we arrived, and like I said, every detail was thought of. We even had an air fryer and choice of coffee makers! I cannot thank Paul and Melanie enough for their hospitality, and allowing us to use their wonderful home. We definitely recommend you stay here and be sure to check out the Irving Nature Center and the Sea Caves in St. Martin at low tide!
