Nicely appointed property that accommodated our large family with sleeping options. The large porch, many games and the fire pit were a nice plus for the kids. There was one issue that was immediately handled by the property manager. We liked the house even with the hour drive to Bar Harbor.
The house very impressed, feel warm and comfortable just like at home, a little bit sủrprised from beginning when we got there in the evening with no light around, we all like it ,especially on the desk on the top of the house.we all enjoyed the beautiful of the sky at night, we saw a lot of stars moved in the sky.
We all have a good time during stay, only thing we dislike it is the hot and cold water control in the shower, we haveâs hard time to get good water temperature, sometimes too cold some times it too hot.
Great home with lots of amenities that needs to be dusted well
The property itself was really nice and had everything that we wanted. The deck on the top of the home was just amazing with spectacular views. The only issue was dust. Donât get me wrong, the sheets and pillows and towels were all very clean and so was the kitchen and bathrooms and bedrooms. However there was dust that gathered on the throws in the sitting area/sofa and other fabric in the common areas. One of the sources of dust was the areas under the beds. Anyways, a little more attention to this will make this home an amazing retreat.
Three brothers and their mother share this home, some here in Maine and some further afield. We're all fans of the Downeast Maine coast, and love to host friends and family in this quiet edge of northeast.
