This was our second stay on the property. We'll definitely be back! Clean camping, on a clean creek, in the woods, in nature with electric with all the camping amenities. We love sitting on the deck in the morning, coffee in hand, listening to the creek and birds.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Creekside Haven! Communication with Donald was great. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs and meats, which you can purchase ahead of time. The stay also included a bottle of wine which was so thoughtful. Loved the atmosphere of camping but with an upgrade of beds, electric, and hot private shower! Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking to go off grid with some upgrades!

One of my favorite spots… probably my top spot to visit. It’s peaceful. The owner takes good care of us. He is super accommodating. The bacon, eggs, and sausage are delicious for breakfast. You can order ahead and it will be left in the fridge ready to go. This is my 3rd year coming out. I’ve already decided that I will continue to visit even after my son graduates WVU.

The place is beautiful. So peaceful and quiet. The creek is nice to just sit in and cool down and listen to. The hot tub at night was so beautiful and relaxing. And so much nature to explore. Highly recommend if you need time to unwind and relax away from the busy world. Just to get into nature. Definitely will be coming back with the kids.

It’s a magical outdoor oasis. My family absolutely loved it. The brook was so peaceful. My kids loved wading in it and looking for treasures. The soaking tub was great, 2 can easily fit. The outdoor shower was so nice and relaxing. The location is conveniently located to outdoor recreation including OhioPyle State Park, Laurel Caverns, Cheat Lake, etc. I asked my kids to rate it and they both said 10 out of 10. The host was great and very responsive.

This was our second time staying at this lovely property. It’s the perfect amount of outdoors and comfortable accommodations. We encountered some storms but held up in the tent!

I can’t say enough good things about this site. There were so many things that we didn’t think would be included but were. The host was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

Everything was clean and in good working order. We enjoyed the amount of space at our disposal, the tent right on the river, plenty of dry wood for the fire, comfy beds, the compost toilet, and nice hot shower. They even had us pick a complimentary bottle of wine, which we found when we arrived. They provided everything we ended up needing. A couple of things I would improve: better dishes (the plastic ones would get ruined when we cut the food … maybe melanine ones?), if possible a better floor covering in the tent (but I get how it would be tricky), and a washable cover for the bed pillows (to be used under the regular covers).Thank you!

We stayed here for the WVU vs Pitt Backyard braw 2025. Convenient to Morganton. The setting was very nice on a stream in the woods. we loved the shower, and the wood fired hot tub. We would certainly consider returning.

first stay in a yurt

Great location, private, next to a creek and on a farm. Roomy and very comfortable beds. The outdoor bathroom was large and the shower was also very nice. We loved the privacy and fresh eggs. My niece loved walking amidst the animals in the morning.

Perfect Nature Spot

This place is amazing, falling asleep listening to the running water and wild turkeys is the best. The shower is great never runs out of hot water. This is by far the best place to stay if you love nature. The host is great and easy to get a hold of. We just booked for a week in September. Just love it.

By far the coolest, my beautiful and relaxing VRBO we have ever stayed at. The bell tent with the 2 queen beds was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the stream and wildlife was so relaxing. Every amenity you’d expect were provided and honestly better quality then many other VRBO’s. Close and convenient to Morgantown, which is why we were in town. We will be back for a longer stay without having other commitments at WVU. The host was so nice! Highly recommend!

This was the second time we stayed. The first time we stayed at the first site. Both sites are excellent. Everything is clean and ready to go. The bottle of wine is a nice touch. We also had sausage off the farm for breakfast and ended up buying more to take home, it was that good. The owner was quick to communicate and answer all of my questions. We will be back next year.

Fun Family Getaway

We rented both Yurts for a family fun adventure. We would spend most of each day doing nearby activities - caving and white water rafting etc. The yurts were a relaxing and fun place to return to each evening. The kids loved playing in the stream that ran along side the Yurts and adults loved relaxing by the water and the campfire. The beds are very comfortable and the shower at yurt #2 is amazing!!! We had a lot of fun! We learned that the owner is now offering trail rides too- we already think we should return for that

Dream weekend

This was an amazing romantic weekend for us. We stayed on site 2, with the fire fueled hot tub. It was so relaxing and the property was beautiful and well maintained. It is camping with everything you would need. All you need to bring are your clothes, family, and friends. We are already planning our next vacation and this times, if the kids are lucky, they can come too. The property owners were amazing and very responsive. We were given a tour of the property which is 101 acres of beautiful country. I highly recommend staying at this working farm.

Creekside Haven, indeed!

This creekside property was the perfect spot to disconnect- I only wish I had booked more nights! There were so many thoughtful touches and accommodations like extra blankets, big cozy towels, dining utensils and electric outlets that made the experience extra comfortable for less-experienced campers like ourselves!The wood-fired soaking tub was such a treat to enjoy under the stars.The farm and surrounding property are beautiful. I highly recommended wandering around the woods and creek. We found ourselves sharing the site with several great blue heron that are nested in treetops just downstream from the tent and heard the sounds of owls in the trees at night. Just lovely!

Everything was so amazing, if you are looking for something a little different and don't want to deal with bad sleep and the discomforts that come with traditional camping this is the perfect middle ground were you are still fully engulfed in the camping experience without the discomforts. We are already planning our next stay here!
