The house was very nice. Beautiful water views. (Rainy most of the weekend so we didn’t get out into the lake.) Plenty of space to spread out inside & out. Game room was fun. Beds were comfortable. Good communication with property manager. I’d rate 9 out of 10 because the hot tub was not clean / was unusable, which we reported to the property manager.

There was a bathroom that didn't seem to be cleaned before we arrived. Everything else in the house was good. Perfect location, we loved how secluded it felt. It would be helpful to give instructions for in case the septic alarm goes off.

Amy, thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the secluded setting and location! We’re very sorry that one of the bathrooms wasn’t properly cleaned before your arrival. That’s not up to our standards, and we’ll be sharing your comments with our hard-working cleaning crew. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the septic alarm. The alarm is there to alert us that something needs attention, and if it ever goes off, guests should contact us right away. Our team is available 24/7 for issues like this so we can respond and take care of the problem. Thanks again, Amy. We hope you’ll come back and stay with us again! Jon B. and the Manage Cabins Crew

Family vacation

Adorable house, perfect for families with kids! Newer property for owners so some of the convenience items haven’t been acquired yet like in other listings. Back door latch was broken and owner was very responsive. Clean, comfortable beds and amazing views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you, Ashli, for your feedback! We're glad you found the house adorable and perfect for families with kids. We’re happy you enjoyed the clean, comfortable beds and the amazing views. We appreciate you letting us know about the back door latch, and we're glad we could respond quickly. Just a note—the latch can be a bit tricky, as you need to lift up on the handle to lock it. We’ve added instructions for future guests to make it easier. If you have any suggestions for convenience items, please feel free to message us directly. We consider this one of our better-equipped homes out of the 40-plus properties we manage, and we’re always looking to improve. We’d love to welcome you back in a heartbeat! Excellent easy access to the lake. The Eastern exposure provided beautiful mornings on the end of the dock. We were there in Sept so the lake wasn’t the clearest, but we know that changes based on season. The house was overall pretty clean, with just a couple minor things missed by the cleaning crew. The kitchen is well stocked which was helpful for us to prepare all meals at the home. There’s really only one restaurant close by, but that was fine with us.

Great Family Memories!

We had a wonderful stay at Kosh Kottage. The bugs were pretty heavy during our stay, but not anything anyone could do about that. My spouse and I stayed with our 4 sons and their spouses/girlfriends for 4 days. We had a wonderful trip. There were plenty of activities for everyone and we had such a great time! They are all looking forward to another trip next year! Wish we would have caught some fish, but still a great time had by all.

Kosh for the Win!

We had a group of family members in the area for a wedding. The group was too big for one place- so we broke up a found our own spots. We selected Kosh Kottage and couldnt be happier. Not only did we love it- but all the family members who visited us wished they were staying there. We had the best house ajd the best view and access of anyone among the five properties rented. Thanks, Jon!

The View

This is a great property for families. The location is on the calmer side of the lake (perfect for the kids) and it is a beautiful view. We had a lot of fun and we will look into renting here again for our next Kosh stay. The space is wonderful and the house itself has alot of space and fun within it. My only complaint would be one broken toilet (out of their control but still an inconvenience) and the shuffle board sand that was all over the floor when we got there so I started our stay with vacuuming the entire house. Thank you for allowing us to make great memories in your space.

Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that everything else about your stay was excellent. We haven’t had issues with water pressure before, but we’ll certainly look into it. As for the septic alarm, the system was still fully functional—it was just a routine alert that it needed to be pumped. The driver did get a bit turned around, but we were able to direct him, and he arrived within a few hours. We’re not quite sure why this was a concern, as it didn’t impact the use of the system, but we appreciate you bringing it up. We hope to host you again in the future! Expected more

The game room was not up to par. Their binder with rules were only about rules and absolutely, no suggestions on where to eat. Listen to live music or places to go. Very sad on accessories. oap

Hi Sherie, Thanks for your review! I’m sorry to hear the game room didn’t meet your expectations. It’s equipped with a brand new shuffleboard and a ping pong table, just as shown in the pictures, so I’d love to know more about what you felt was missing or not up to par. Your feedback helps us understand how we can improve, so any additional details would be appreciated. I hope you still enjoyed your stay and the peaceful surroundings. Last minute vacation for my Birthday

We saw the weather was to be unseasonably warm and decided to vaca here for my 50th bday. We really didn't need all the space this place has. Well we invited our Sons family for one of the nights due to the wonderful layout this rental had. They had the entire upstairs which provided separate bathroom, bedroom, and family room for their whole family. The hot tub outside under the stair was amazing. The only downside for us renting in the future is the walkout into the water was very rocky and not as sandy as I would like for all the grandkids and myself to play in the water. We only did walk the first 10 foot of shore so maybe it gets better the further out you go. Kosh is shallow for a long way out. We also wondered if we had a boat if it would need to be anchored a ways out to have it by the rental. The water level by the dock is only 1-2' when we stayed. Again kosh is a shallow lake so you will have to discuss docking expectations before renting. The other big hit was the large game room with shuffle board, ping pong, old school arcade, and board games. Nicely done! Would totally stay here again. The management team was excellent with out questions and replied very quickly with any message.

Kosh Kottage worked great for our family gathering, aged 2-89. Plenty of space and fun things to do in the cottage on the 2 rainy days that we had to be indoors. The kitchen was great for cooking all of our meals.

Property was nicely updated and decorated. The kitchen was very functional and had everything we needed to make family meals. The living space was great for playing games. The hot tub and lake views were amazing. The actual lake itself was a bit green and murky but not unexpected for the time of year we stayed (July).
