Gorgeous home nestled in the trees w/ views from every window! Enjoy some of the best hiking, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing trails in the county starting on the property easement! Appreciate the feeling of remote seclusion, while being close to town and world class skiing. Immerse yourself in nature w/ the massive wall of windows, an acre of forest and neighborhood fishing pond. The perfect home for a relaxing getaway, ski trip, or remote work w/ Starlink internet & seven-person hot tub!
The space:
Perfectly situated between Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park this 2,200 sqft, 3-bedrooms, 2-bathroom home is just 1.5 hours from Denver. The neighborhood also has a stocked pond and private access to the Fraser River for fishing.
This one of a kind home includes a fire pit, huge deck, 3 additional decks, & 2 separate living rooms making this a perfect space for 3+ couples, 2+ families, a special event, or getaway with friends. It's custom passive solar design works with the sun to keep it comfortable all year round. When using both futons this home can sleep up to 10 guests.
Enjoy the mountain views and bird watching from the two-story floor to ceiling windows and take a stroll on the many miles of incredible neighborhood trails. This home is a fantastic place for star gazing, hiking, fishing, biking, skiing, snow shoeing, snowboarding, and all the best outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. Devil's Thumb Ranch is also just down the road and considered the premier Nordic center for Colorado cross-country skiing with nearly 120km of trails at the base of the Continental Divide.

The outdoor decks have a couch, lounge chairs, chairs, umbrellas, and a propane grill.
For dining options, there is a large dining table, one smaller dining room table, and 2 additional barstool countertop seats. Two dedicated workspaces include desks, Herman Miller Aeron chairs, and one additional larger screen.
Guest access:
Guests have access to the full property, excluding the garage. This home is on a wooded acre with trails starting on the property. There is also private access to Fraser River and a stocked fishing pond (entrance key at the cabin). You will be provided a door code for keyless entrance to the front door.
Parking notes: large driveway that can fit up to 6 cars. The last mile of the drive is on plowed gravel roads. 4-wheel drive in winter is encouraged, but not required. No street parking allowed in Grand County.
Other things to note:
On snowy days, the driveway will be plowed, though keep in mind that the plow folks have other houses to plow as well, so they will get to the house as quickly as possible. There are shovels in the front if you need access to your car before they arrive. They will attempt to work around your vehicles, but may need to return when you have left for the day.
In the winter, snow tires and/or 4 wheel drive is recommended.
Please keep in mind you are amongst wildlife, so do not keep any food of any kind in your car.
