This condo is in a great location for a long term stay. It is quieter than other parts of the French Quarter but less than a block from busy Decatur Street. As a music fan, I appreciated its proximity to Frenchmen Street.
The property was very well stocked. We had zero issues with TV, washer/dryer, AC, etc. We spent a lot of time on the very nice balcony overlooking two historic buildings and gardens. The condo is more spacious than the photos depict. The bedroom is not really a loft; it functions more as a separate room. It is plenty large with 2 big closets. Nice to have a bathroom on each floor.
The owners are very nice, helpful, and quick to respond.
I wouldn't change anything about this condo and we look forward to staying there again.
Great Location; Great Unit; Great Hosts
Location is on the quiet side of the Quarter, yet only a 5 minute stroll to the north corner of Jackson Square.
Unit is in an older building and has been well remodeled with nice new appliances in kitchen and bath.
Hosts went the extra mile for us on several occasions.
I can't say enough good things about this property and the owners. The pictures don't do the apartment justice. It has everything you need for a long stay and is very comfortable to be in with the space very well thought out. The king bed is wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and the laundry area is very nice to have for long stays. The heat and AC work well.
The balcony is fantastic to sit out, enjoy a drink and people watch.
The owners are fantastic and make the checkin process easy. They provide you will all the information you need. They are a text away if you need anything, but otherwise leave you alone to enjoy your stay. We asked about bike storage and they even found bikes for us to use, so we didn't have to haul ours down! How cool is that?!?! The courtyard downstairs is super safe if you do bring your own bikes.
We can't wait to go back!!
What a great 5 days! Condo was comfortable, clean and in a great location in the French Quarter! Walking distance to Frenchman Street for great live music. Also just a couple of blocks from the open air market and the Mississippi River. Would definitely recommend and return here!
The location of this beautiful condo is perfect for accessing the heart of New Orleans. The owner was so helpful, informative, KIND, and accommodating. The building is historic and very authentic. The staff are all there to only help and serve you in any way they can. This is just a short maybe, 3-5 minute walk from the all of New Orleans favorite spots. We went on tours, shopped, and visited all the best restaurants and bars that were recommended by locals, as well as travel sites, all within a walking distance. HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS HOMEAWAY CONDO!! Hopefully I can come back many more times.
Had a great time in this clean, spacious, comfortable condo located about a block north of Jackson Square -- far enough away from the noise of Bourbon St. but still very close to all the action. We drank coffee on the balcony and swam in the pool but otherwise were gone much of the time sight-seeing. So whether you're an explorer or more of a homebody, this place has you covered. The Stewarts were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful with suggestions on dining and activities too. We hope to return soon!
So much more homey than a hotel. There were three of us who stayed for 10 days. Having an upstairs/downstairs and 2 bathrooms made our time together very comfortable. The location is great with plenty of shopping, restaurants and music available within walking distance.
Kayne and James are great to work with which makes the stay even nicer.
Very comfortable for two people. The shared balcony was fun. Having the hotel supply fresh towels was handy. Quiet at night. Within walking distance of all that is offered in the French Quarter. The owners could not have been more accomodating. We would definitely stay again.
My wife and I made our first trip to New Orleans and really enjoyed your condo. It's close to everything yet on a quiet street so you can enjoy all the sights and attractions and then retreat to your quiet oasis when you've finished your day. No need to rent a car. In fact, it's better not to - everything is within a few blocks. Great balcony with a nice view and a freshening breeze from the river. Owners made every effort to ensure we had what we needed and provided recommendations you can only get from a local. Many thanks! When we come again, we'll be sure to stay here.
The wife and I loved staying at your condo and look forward to staying there again. We really liked the location since you could literally walk out of the condo onto the street and be in the middle of everything. I personally enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning with a nice cup of coffee and just people watch. We thoroughly enjoyed our New Orleans experience and the owners were very welcoming by extending that southern hospitality. Thank you again for everything!
