Had a great stay. Very clean and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Really enjoyed the pool and appreciated detergent pods provided to do a few loads of laundry before going home. Would definitely stay here again and will look to see if itâs available for my next stay in Pensacola.
Furniture was dirty and worn. Bathroom sink back up and drained slowly. No trash cans in the master bathroom. Place was close to shopping. House was in need of paint. Shower doors in both bathrooms were missing and needed replaced.
Overall our stay was great! Property was generally clean and mostly updated with some bits of wear here and there but nothing to fuss over. The pool was far from a resort style BUT it was perfect for my boys to play in for hours when they had too much sand time. It was a safe and quiet neighborhood and close enough to everything we needed.
Home was a quiet comfotable home near the school my child graduated from. Only couple of small concerns on arrival, advised host at once. Host was very accommodating.
The house was easy to find and located within 10 miles of everything we came to do. The backyard was completely fenced so perfect for the dogs to run and play. Exactly what we needed for our trip.
Our stay in Pensacola was incredible! The house was beautiful and the perfect fit for our family. The teens especially loved having the pool, which was a huge hit. The pool service came three times during our week-long stay, trying to work around the storms, and they were not only professional but also super friendlyâoffering great local recommendations. There are shade trees on the neighboring property that overhang the pool area. They do drop some leaves into the water, but itâs nothing that made the pool feel dirtyâjust leaves, and easily manageable. The door leading out to the pool has a handle that lifts up to open, which could be a helpful feature for families with young kidsâit might make it harder for little ones to open the door on their own. Just remember up to go out and down to come in. And the hostâtruly one of the nicest people weâve ever rented from! She was amazing from check-in to check-out, making everything smooth and stress-free. Weâd definitely stay here again!
The property was nice just a little upset my grandson didnt get to use the pool. Little suggestion maybe get a pool cover and trim back the trees so the pool could be used. But overall my family enjoyed it.
The host was wonderful, very accommodating and had great communication. Our stay in Pensacola was to celebrate my daughterâs graduation from UWF. The house was perfect for approx 20 guests to mingle and visit with her after the ceremony. Very spacious and nice outdoor area. I thank you for making our weekend special.
Property location and details accurate. Could have used more kitchen tools. Beds were comfortable but black out shades would have been nice to avoid early morning sunlight..
We loved staying at this house! It was so much better than staying right on the beach. We stayed during the week of July 4th and had easy access to stores and restaurants without the crowds and traffic. This location provided easy access to multiple beaches and tourist spots. The house was clean and the kids loved the pool. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!
House was very clean. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Neighborhood was very safe. Location was excellent. Yard was freshly mowed. Everything worked as it should.
Great location and communication was good with the host. The cleaning crew left plenty of grit and dirt on the floor and no toilet paper stocked. Sheets and blankets were still wet in the dryer so we were late getting to bed night one waiting for them to dry. Beds not made up. Kitchen was minimally stocked for about 3 people per meal in silverware etc.
One thing that I needed was a pool for the kids. I was told the pool had been serviced. The pool was dirty. My grandkids would not even get in. I believe the rental is a work on progress, but if you are going to advertise it as a "pool patadise", at least have the po ready.
Home is located in a good area, near lots of businesses and the airport. Be mindful, itâs off a busy street and sometimes car speed through. Host provided code ahead of time. Parking available. The home itself wasnât clean, when arrived there was trash left behind in the kitchen and outside from a previous event. No towels in room or bathrooms. Was able to find some in the laundry room. No hand soap or body wash/shampoo provided in one of the two bathrooms. The sheets had hair and the bathrooms mats had animal hair. No hangers in the closet for clothes to be hung and the drawers have random items, such as hair clips hair ties, and markers. Unfortunately, there was dog poop littered on the lawn and the pool was dirty and covered in leaves. Wasnât cleaned, covered or drain if it was not in use. Home could use a deep cleaning.
The house was not a paradise. I was told we had use of the pool but it was filthy. Property Mgr said they would come on Friday or Monday. We got there Thursday afternoon. I could have gone in pool Thursday Friday and Saturday if it were clean. The pool was cleaned the following Wednesday, the day before we left. The house was a flip and if there had been a little more attention to detail it might have been a pleasant stay. I only gave it two stars because the mgr. was so kind. Honestly, there was no place to hang towels because they were both broken in master bedroom. No hangars in each room, only one. The door came off off the hinge when I opened it up in spare bedroom. The towels were old and ragged. The curtains were thin and the light coming from the neighbors spotlight made it hard to sleep. I had to draino two drains to use them. I had great communication with Property Mgr but I was expecting more from reviews. It reminded me of a college house that you first rent when you have zero income. There was dirty underwear left along with dental floss and I had to re-wash floors. The refrigerator has an odor to it and I had to wipe it down to get the smell out. The pm sent an iron, soap, and toilet paper along with an over the door hanger for towels. To say this was a great disappointment is putting it mildly. I did lock myself out one day and was assisted within two hours to open the door. Just so disappointed.
Located in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood.
This house was clean, kitchen is beautiful, light, & airy w/ lots of counter space. Appliances in good working condition.
That saidâŠ
We entered to an overwhelming smell of a strong strange fragrance. What is that?
Missing:
Paper towels
Tissues. Just an empty container.
Hairdryer
Towels, Washcloths, a mat in master bath
Found a mound of towels on the dryer. We washed - not knowing if clean, dirty, or how long they had been dumped there.
Amend amenities list. There is a Keurig, no pods. We would have brought our pods.
Need a hook in each bathroom for clothes, etc.
Whose food is in the fridge & freezer? Itâs weird & disconcerting w/out notice about leaving food. Toss? Leave? We left it.
One closet is available- but no hangers.
Shoes are under the king bed?
In spite of these bumps, the house is very clean.
Pool not so muchâŠ.. family chose not to get in. Water was clear but a lot of black, algae..? on the bottom & sides. Rereading recent reviews, the issue has not been corrected.
Beautifully Remodeled Home with plenty of room to hang out with familyOwner was response to a concern and it was taken care of to our satisfaction. Will consider staying here again when back in the area
Spacious kitchen/living room area, quiet neighborhood and being dog friendly are the positives. Pool area/back yard not inviting and not a paradise in its current state.Totes of discarded items as well as an old mattress laying in backyard/side yard. Linens need replacing as towels and sheets are very worn with holes in some sheets. Only seating for 2 on back patio which was a real bummer as we had 4 adults and wanted to spend time outside with our dogs. No outdoor dining space. Patio/pool area needs weeding. Indoor dining table only had 3 chairs. Painters tape and pushpins on living room ceiling and walls Probably from previous party decorations. Back patio light did not work but thankfully there were string lights we were able to plug in so we could at least see to let dogs out. Bought new bulb for back light but still didnt work.Only half roll of toliet paper and paper towels when we arrived. Had to purchase those items as well as kitchen trash bags. Door to patio very hard to open.Bedroom closet door off hinges and laying inside closet. Home has potential but needs tlc and attention to detail. Unknown if property owner aware of these things or if they are housekeeping issues but seems some were mentioned in previously posted reviews now that I have gone back to look closer. Feel the vrbo rating is much higher than it should be which is what I based on reservation on. Review left to inform property owner and wanted to help others from being disappointed
Cute house! House and linens were covered in pet hair and dirt though. We washed all linens before we used them. I think the cleaning crew forgot those. Need chairs by the pool! And some throw blankets. And pool towels. Back door handle wont open so we went through the laundry room. Fridge was large and clean! Other than the linens and pet hair everything was great!
