We loved this location and being able to open the back doors right to the beach. The villa was very spacious and clean. The only downside was the listing photos showed cornhole and boogie boards, but they were not at the villa. We also werenât able to use the grill because there was no propane and no one brought us any during our stay. I would advise anyone staying here to bring your own cleaning products as well because none were provided.
Started out OK. For what we paid kinda run down and sparse kitchen equip. Sleeps 12...6 forks in unit. Poorly constructed bunk bed nearly killed one of our party when top bunk crashed thru to bottom with normal amount of weight above. They charged us for the repairs! Rained hard last night of trip, sewer backed up and 2 inches of water flooded the entire villa. Roof leaked from skylight and all vents above toilets. I came across another review of this villa unfortunately after we got back where same thing happened in July 2018 without rain. I asked if this had ever happened before and Denise the manager said....oh no first time (outright lie). So they know they are putting guests in this potential situation. We had 2 adults and 9 kids in the group basically ruined the tail end of our trip. Asked for one nights refund and refund of cleaning fee...sorry sir no refunds this was an act of nature. It has happened before and without rain, leaking roof and vents are not act of god and neither is a bed breaking that should hold my wife and I but cannot hold 3 kids sitting on it. They could have made it right but chose not to. BTW when you are communicating back and forth about this place you are renting from the resort and not an individual owner. I get why nobody owns it. I have been coming to RP for years and love RP. There are many great places to stay. Bella Sirena, Las Palomas, Costa Diamante. Go there....don't ever rent this villa or come to Las Palmas....your really taking your chances if anything were to go wrong. Their customer service so so bad it is a joke. I would not take a free trip to this dump.
We loved this Villa! It is next to the pool, has unobstructed views of the sea, and was steps away from the stairs leading to the beach. The villa is open, spacious and stays nice and cool in July. We had plenty of seating for our large group. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and eating breakfast out on the patio. The younger kids loved the Las Palmas pool area with slides while the teens and adults spent more time lounging in the pool overlooking the sea. Being right next to the beach access stairs was ideal. The only problem that we had is that the DVD player did not work. Other than that, everything was great. We all talked about it and would love to come back and stay here again. It has been our favorite spot in Rocky Point thus far and we have tried several of the resorts.
We searched for a 5 star vacation in Puerto Penasco and paid TOP $$$$$. The unit is outstanding but when we arrived there were 12 construction workers on our BEACHFRONT patio pouring cement, laying tile, and cutting rebar. We couldn't even sit on the patio due to the noise and dirt. The unit advertised to be right on the beach but we had to walk around the construction crew to get to the beach. We asked the front desk why no one informed us of this situation and they said "sorry Charlie". We asked for a refund and they refused, even though we had bought trip insurance. A beachfront Villa sounds so awesome but not when the beach access is blocked by construction. Even access to the pool and restaurant was a game of Dodgeball with the heavy machinery being used. Renters beware.
