Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that we're making some updates to our building's hallways and a few apartments. You might hear some construction noises during the day, but it's all in the name of improving our guests' experience. Thanks so much for your understanding!
Apartment near downtown. Luxurious Everything you need. Large TV to chill out and stream your favorite show or take a quick walk to some upscale fun or cosmopolitan bars. If you need ideas on what to do we are here to help.
The pillows were absolutely terrible. They were too tall and incredibly stiff, to the point where it hurts your neck. The pillowcase is also very scratchy, like sandpaper. The walls were very thin. The TV buttons would only work after 2-4 tries, and it would randomly turn off and on. At one point it would not turn on again. I brought this up with the host and was met with an automated message on how to use the TV (because my message had the word TV in it). The room was always cold no matter how high we turned up the heat.
The property is right at the edge of the Old Market district of Omaha, easy walking distance from the newest restaurants and shops and walking distance from the Saturday morning Farmers Market. It also is less than 3 miles from the Zoo and less than 5 miles from the Aksarben Sunday farmers market.
The property was fine, gravel parking lot. Upon entering into the building, there were two flights of stairs to the left, and about 3 steps up to where there were apartments and another set of 2 flights of stairs to the second floor. The area coming inside the building is a chipboard (maybe not the right word), and the hallways outside of the apartments the same. Carpet on stairsâŠremodel in progress?, I donât know. We found our apartment, had some issues getting the door to take our code. The key pad is dark, the numbers light up only after you punch the first number and weâre obviously punching the wrong number. Weâre inside, itâs very nice, we brought our things in and settled in. We left for a bit to see the city. A few hours later, we come back to get our wedding clothes on, my nephew was getting married. We leave the apartment and the door would not lock no matter what we tried. We scrambled to pack up our stuff to put in the trunk of our car, until after we got back, not happy about that because we nearly missed the wedding. Before we left the first time, I used the bathroom, my husband had to poop, and that was the end of the toilet paper. No extra rolls to be found, and we looked everywhere. I would think housekeeping could at least put a new roll on to start with, or at least leave an extra roll somewhere. We ended up buying toilet paper to get us through our stay, unacceptable! The next day weâre packed up ready to load the car, AGAIN, the door would not lock.
Close enough to old town and down town to get to quickly by car, or zip onto the highway for Omaha adventures.
The apartment is sparsely furnished, clean, with no extras. Plan to bring your own toiletries, hairdryer, hangers, extra Keurig cups and towels. Soaps and TP provided.
The buliding is under construction but we didnât hear or see any work goin on. It was secure and quiet.
Nice apartment as advertised. Was a little unsure of the neighborhood upon arrival but host assured me there have never been any issues and we did not encounter any. Building is under construction but no noise whatsoever and all working materials were cleaned up.
