The Base Camp at Red Rock Canyon- A block from hiking & biking trails!

Our home sits in between the city limits of both Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs! We are just a block from the trails at Red Rock Canyon Open Space, which is a 1,474 sq ft city park with bike and hiking trails. We are also within 5-10 minutes of Downtown Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Garden of the Gods.

When you enter the home at ground level, you will find the main living room, two bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed), main bathroom (with tub), dining room, kitchen, and patio/deck above the back yard. Sofa pulls out into an additional bed that can sleep two.

Downstairs, is the second living room that houses a trundle bed (two twin beds)and a futon. Pass through the living room into the downstair bedroom to find the third bedroom with queen bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, a futon, and a desk.

Our kitchen is stocked with various spices, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, vegetable oil, and a coffee and creamer setup for the beginning of your stay. Our showers have dispensers supplied with body wash (sensitive skin, unscented), shampoo, and conditioner.

Beautiful home close to so many activities!

The house was located very close to garden of the god! Made exploring for hiking and waterfalls very easy!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The house manager was great to work with. She was very helpful giving us ideas for large group gathering since we were there for a family reunion. She also answered any questions I had very quickly!

Fantastic Property!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay again. The home was so cute and comfortable, very clean, very well stocked amenities wise, and perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. We walked to the Red Rock Open Canyon right from the house!! Manitou Springs/Incline, Garden of the Gods, Old City and more all within a short car ride. I loved having breakfast on the back patio each morning, the view is absolutely stunning from the back porch. The neighborhood was safe and well kept, too. Thank you so much!!

Red Rocks open space

We loved this house. It’s a short walk to Red Rocks open space. Beautiful place to hike and run. It’s just a few minute drive to all Colorado and Manitou Springs has to offer. You can see a little bit of Garden of the Gods from the back deck which was nice. Would definitely stay here again

Our stay in Colorado Springs

The place was very clean. Tiffany was very helpful throughout the booking process. She answered all of our questions about the house. The house was very close to our events in Manitou Springs. Being close to the Red Rock Open Space was a bonus ! A very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic spot to stay in Colorado Springs

This was probably the best vacation rental I have stayed at when it comes to guest conveniences and accommodations. The bathrooms and kitchen were very well setup with everything you would need. We stayed almost a week. This place is very close to most of the “main” attractions in the Colorado Springs and Manitou area, but honestly our favorite part was morning and evening walks in the Red Rocks open space which was literally steps away from the house. We enjoyed that open space WAY more than garden of the gods and couldn’t believe the wildlife we also got to enjoy.

Comfortable and beautiful area.

Everything was awesome and comfortable. We wished there was a fan in the bathrooms and toilets were flushing pretty weakly. The downstairs sink drained very slowly. Overall, we enjoyed staying with beautiful nature and closeness to the old downtown area. Thank you.

Regarding the concerns raised in this review: Toilets: Our upstairs toilet is a newer dual-flush model with both low and high flush options, which may have caused some confusion. The downstairs toilet only has one flushing option, so we adjusted the water level for better flushing performance. Sink Drainage: We found the downstairs sink to be slightly slow due to a low-set stopper meant to prevent guests' items from being lost down the drain. We have adjusted it to improve drainage speed. Bathroom Ventilation: Our home, built before bathroom fans became standard, features windows in both bathrooms that can be opened for ventilation. A Note on Reviews: We truly value your feedback, as it helps us continuously improve. Perfect location

Loved this property. It is at the entrance of Red Rock Canyon Open Space and right outside Manitou Springs. The home was spotless and beautifully appointed. There were so many nice touches and little extras that made the stay so comfortable. Plenty of towels, dishes, bedding and things like laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid, toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner/body wash were supplied as well. The host communicated effectively throughout the whole process which made check in and check out easy. We will definitely stay here whenever we come to Colorado Springs.
