Welcome to The Beatrice Estate — a stunning 1945 Tudor-style retreat designed for unforgettable gatherings, family vacations, and outdoor adventure in beautiful Western Colorado. Blending timeless character with modern comforts, this spacious estate includes a beautifully restored main home, a private guest house, and an incredible backyard oasis packed with amenities for guests of all ages.

Perfectly located near the renowned Colorado National Monument, the popular Lunch Loops Trailhead mountain biking trails, local wineries in Palisade, golf courses, rafting adventures, and skiing at Powderhorn Mountain Resort, this property is the ideal home base for every season. Recently featured as a prize getaway on the legendary game show Wheel of Fortune, The Beatrice Estate offers a truly memorable stay in the heart of Grand Junction.

The Space:

Main House
Step inside the main home and discover warm, inviting spaces thoughtfully designed for connection and comfort.
The spacious kitchen serves as the heart of the home, offering plenty of room for cooking, gathering, and entertaining. Nearby, the comfortable living room invites guests to relax after a day of adventure, while the sun-filled reading nook provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by windows and natural light.
The dining area features a large table with seating for eight, making it perfect for shared meals and conversation.

The house was perfect for our golfing/rafting outing. The backyard really hit the spot with the pool/hot tub/grill/fire pit/TV and huge area for our cornhole games with fantastic views.We will definitely stay there again!

This was an excellent property! We booked it for a 3-day retreat for my organization (about 12 people total) and it worked very well. Plenty of space, very clean, hosts were very helpful and responsive. Outdoor area with TV and firepit were great for socializing. Would definitely stay here again!

We are already in the process of reserving a week next year. We rent through VRBO more than yearly and this ranks with the best. We are an extended family of 18. The accommodations are exactly as advertised and clean and well furnished with everything we’d expect. We talked with Wanda and Wayne a few times and they always wanted to be sure our stay was going great. They also offer the opportunity to check in early, if their cleaning crew can finish timely. No VRBO rental has ever offered this. A real bonus.

The place was absolutely beautiful, and we had so fun playing volleyball in the pool for hours. There was no shortage of showers, supplies, sleeping quarters, etc. An amazing property suitable for all ages.

This was our second time staying at this home with a few other families and it is the best! There is so much to do for adults and kids on the grounds, and we really enjoyed grilling, swimming, and using the fire pit at night. The home is modern and clean. It’s close to trails for biking as well, which is a huge bonus. We can’t wait to return again!

We had a fantastic stay. The house is wonderful and the backyard pool and patio are exceptional. The pool is smaller than it looks in the photos, but it was still a blast for our family to enjoy during the hot summer days of July in Grand Junction. The patio makes you feel like you’re staying at a hotel resort. There are also two beautiful fire pits, and a huge table that seats about 20 people. We so much enjoyed hanging out laid into the evening.Our hosts were wonderful and communicated with us very well. If we had any questions that were just a phone call away and always responded quickly. That was refreshing, as it is not always the case with short term rentals.We recommended to the hosts that they replace the mattresses in the guest house bedroom and the guest house hide-a-bed. We slept fine in the guest bedroom, but the mattress is a bit uncomfortable and lacking support. The hide-a-bed mattress needs replacing as you can feel the springs. Our teenage son slept in that bed, but I would not feel comfortable having an adult sleep there. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we really loved the property and would definitely stay there again. Our group was a large one with multiple families for a family reunion, and the property accommodated us well with everyone in beds. We all had a wonderful time and the property felt like home for a few days. Thanks for a great stay!

What a beautiful house

Fun and plenty of space!

We had three families in our group and it was a great property for our group! There was plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen was well-equipped and everyone loved the pool. The home was very clean and it was easy to reach the owner/property manager. Great location - close enough to stores for groceries, etc. and many Western CO sights!

Stunning Estate in Grand Junction

We just returned home from 4 days at this stunning estate in Grand Junction, it is one of the most beautiful properties in the Valley close to the Monument. The property was flawless and we truly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space and spent our nights relaxing outside in total privacy well past midnight. Thank you for making this amazing home open to us, it is far more beautiful then the pictures even indicate. We've stayed at a lot of properties all over the US and this is one of our favorites!

Beautiful Home

We had a lovely time staying at this house! There was plenty of room for all of us and so much to do. Not to mention it is beautifully decorated and super clean. The kids had so much fun going from the tree house to the pool. We could have spent our whole trip just hanging out at the house but it is also so close to hiking, biking and downtown. We will definitely be back and only wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend it:) 5 stars!!

Our stay at The Beatrice was outstanding. We hosted a family reunion and the spaces for gathering, both inside and out were perfect. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the large, open kitchen. There was also ample space for quiet moments for reading or napping. We played volleyball in the pool, horseshoes on the lawn, and card games around the firepit. The buildings were equipped with everything we could possibly need (the extra full bath in the pool house was so great to have!) and the manager responded immediately when we had a few questions. The property is within riding/walking distance of the Lunch Loops bike trail system and the paved road leading to the monument, and only a few minutes from groceries and gas. We highly recommend this property!
