We enjoyed our 2-week stay in this town cottage overlooking Johnson Bay. The spacious deck on the rear of the house offered spectacular views of the bay below. The location was perfect for us. The beds and other furniture were comfortable. This house was especially well stocked with kitchen supplies and household staples. It was built many years ago and most of it has been renovated, including the kitchen and bath. There were new, screened windows in most of the home, but the front windows and some of the side windows await replacement, and unfortunately some of these did not open. Overall, this was a fine cottage that I would definitely recommend.
This cottage has been a labor of love for us. We fell in love with the amazing views and remodeled the down stairs and some of the upstairs too. As my husband describes it ⊠when we first bought it when you stepped inside it was like an Austin powers movie! We as well as our three kids put many hours to turn it in to our dream cottage. We currently live in Orlando due to job relocation so we donât get the opportunity to go very often. That will change when we retire! For now we share with friends and family and rent it when available.
A gorgeous water view! You can literally see 180 view and there are water views from almost every room. We also collected sea glass and treasures found on the beaches. Decorated with a coastal vibe with cozy furniture and unique features. The light over the island is made of a large piece of driftwood found by our brother in law and we made the buoy lights! Many items were found at garage sales or estate auctions. I could go on and on but you have to see it for yourself.
