WELCOME to Whiskey Mountain Escape in Big Canoe, GA! This beautiful 3/3 home with lower level game/bunk room for kiddos sleeps 8. This cabin has a modern/rustic decor, year-round mountain vistas, winter lake views this haven offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort. offers stunning views throughout all floors. This is your place to get away and enjoy the great outdoors. Find sanctuary in the charm that this home provides, sitting in the family room, enjoying nature, or sipping a glass of wine.
Escape to prestigious Big Canoe and relax in this stunning log cabin with access to AMAZING amenities such as 27 holes of golf, 25 miles of hiking trails, 3 lakes, boat rentals, kayaks/paddleboards, tennis/pickleball courts, fitness center, and a beach club with rock water slides, every day offers a new adventure. You will feel truly at home for your peaceful getaway to Big Canoe, just 1 hour north of Atlanta. Special Note: Beach Club which includes rock slides, resort pool and outdoor amenities are only open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
KITCHEN & DINING -
The kitchen features a large island with 2 barstools, and everything needed to cook, or to make a cup of coffee. Eat dinner in style at the dining area for 8, with a view through the wall of windows at the front of the home. There is additional dining space on the outdoor deck for 6-8. This home has a gas grill (with memorable vistas for the bbq chef). The outside deck offers ample space to enjoy a meal or relax in one of the Adirondack chairs. Access to the decks from the living area, or main door on each level.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS -
Behind the kitchen are two bedrooms with a shared full bath. On the top floor of the home is a fully enclosed master suite, with an ensuite bathroom including a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower, workspace area, and reading nook. The views from this level are amazing. Downstairs is a kids dream room. Outfitted with bunk beds, foosball table, life-size connect 4 game, TV, power reclining sectional couch, and your own private deck with swing and hammock.
REST AND RECHARGE:
Master Bedroom- 1 Queen Bed
Main Floor Guest Bedroom 1: 1- Queen Bed
Main Floor Guest Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds (Can be pushed together to make king)
Lower Level: 3- Twin Bunk beds with stairs.
THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just 1 hour north of Atlanta. There is a fishing lake stocked with Trout, marina, and rental boats available. Big Canoe has over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself.
OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 8 overnight guests, in compliance with the city regulations.
RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 27 holes of championship golf, 3 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog parks, beach club, water slide and so much more.
PARKING:
This is a Mountain Community. As always, an all-wheel drive, or front wheel drive vehicle is recommended due to the steep inclines and declines of these mountain roads and driveways. All roads are paved and maintained even through the winter months. This home has parking for 2 vehicles at the top, and parking for 2 vehicles at the first parking level at the bottom of the stairs. There is a pull off area near the top to back in to from the top parking area, so you donât have to go down in reverse. During winter months, the driveway may become icy. Again, an all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended, especially during the winter months.
CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A cleaning fee will be included on all reservations. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check-in and call the owners in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send the cleaning company back to the property to re-clean the reported areas. No refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure cleaning is up to the highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to the web for the protection of other hosts. This beautiful home IS pet friendly with prior approval of the owners.
QUIET HOURS:
The Community quiet hours are from 9pm to 9am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all the people in their unit. All outside lights MUST be turned off after 10pm.
SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind including vaping is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $500 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking/vaping during your reservation period.
MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested but not guaranteed. Additional fees may apply.
Our property manager will come to the home if a guest has an issue, to correct - we insist! We prepare, clean, and inspect each home with detailed lists, records, pictures, and pride. We care about our guests and houses!
PET POLICY: ONLY well-behaved dogs under 75lbs are allowed when approved by owners. No puppies! Dogs should NOT be left unattended in the home unless crated. You need to bring your own crate for the stay. Pets are required to stay off of the furniture as you will be liable for any damage that occurs. Pet Fee is $150 per pet up to 2 dogs.There are many hiking trails, dog parks, and play areas in the community. Please be sure to follow the leash rules, even for certified service animals.

SECURITY:
This home only has outward faced security cameras. There are no cameras inside the home.
