L'emplacement est tout! Notre condo est situé dans la belle Shores Resort sur Grand Traverse Bay East. Vues de la baie peuvent être vues depuis notre balcon au dernier étage qui est une unité de coin agréable et calme. Assez près de Traverse City que vous pouvez monter votre vélo sur le sentier TART au centre-ville de Traverse City et pourtant complètement hors de la circulation. (Si vous cherchez un plus grand condo 1 chambre à coucher, nous avons un de ceux disponibles. Allez au 4356538.) Nous sommes au milieu de tout le nord du Michigan a à offrir. Visites de vignobles, Micro-brasse, cerise, pomme, bleu et la cueillette de baies, casinos, sports nautiques, randonnée, le vélo, le ski, la motoneige, le shopping, fin gourmet arrête, Centre Interlochen des Arts, Sleeping dunes d'ours, et des festivals presque chaque week-end pendant les mois d'été. Certains décident simplement de se détendre sur leur balcon ou sur la plage et de profiter de leur boisson préférée.

Les services d'entretien ménager sont effectuées avant le début de chaque période de location. Nice condo

The condo was very nice and comfortable for two people. Overall the community was quiet and relaxing. And being right on the bay with plenty of pool and beach area was a nice feature. The location is minutes from downtown TC, and would recommend to others.

Quality property with good amenities

Property description was accurate. The property was very clean and well-maintained. It was also well stocked with items for the kitchen and bath. It would have been good to know that we would have to talk our way through a security gate that did not know we were coming. A big storm knocked out the electric our last afternoon, and it still was not back on the next morning was we packed to leave. One of our favorite things about the property is that it is only a few miles from our favorite restaurant - Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen.

Thank you for reviewing our condo. That storm was awful. There were parts of Northern Michigan that were without power for over a week! Sorry about the miscommunication with the security person as you entered. Their primary responsibility is to assist guests in finding their Condo in the Shores Complex, not checking guests in and out. Yes we are in the middle of so many incredible restaurants, Pearls is awesome.

Great location but truly needs updating

Very quiet location. It is clean. It's just you kind of get put off when you walk in and everything looks quite old and needing updating. The murphy bed was fine and I believe the couch with a pull out bed is newer. It's the stained bath matt, old stained glider chair, old carpet, old dusty blinds and very old small cabinetry in the kitchen area that makes you feel like you are staying in your grandmother's attic. Again, it's clean. Very nice clientele in the area. Owner is very nice!

Adorably charming studio condo with access to everything. Steps away from the beach and pool. Moments away from Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, as well as downtown. Perfect for a couple needing a romantic getaway.

Worked out great for what i needed.

Good location, nice view, well-stocked and very comfortable. Only issue was 3rd floor walk-up on move-in day. Being a single 70-yr old, who was staying for 3+ weeks, i had lots to haul in and out. After resting when move-in was finalized, i found stairs not to be an issue for me during my stay. Unit was clean, cozy, and quiet.

Great Stay

The property was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. The only drawback was the 3 flights of stairs. We are older and moving in was tiring, however we got used to it and enjoyed it. For future reference you may want to leave detailed instructions on how to operate the tv. We had never seen anything like that having had Directv and cable. Otherwise a very comfortable stay!!

Great little place!

I will admit when we first arrived I thought the condo was way too small. But once we got settled, it was fine for just the 2 of us. It's very clean and well appointed. Our only complaint is that the mattress dipped a little in the middle. I do think it needs replaced.

Easy to find. Beautiful view. Clean interior. Good for 2 people.

The property is very nice and is perfect for two people to get away for the weekend. The drive isn't too long to downtown, and there are a lot of places to eat right around the condo! I would recommend this property!

Great First Experience with HomeAway

Let me start off by saying that Barry was excellent to deal with! It was our Anniversary weekend, and we unfortunately had a death in the family. Barry worked with us to make sure we could arrive later than expected, and he made extra accommodations to make sure we were happy with our stay. The property is in a great area, not far from downtown. It was very clean, and well maintained. The furniture in the living room has to be moved around in order to pull down the bed, but overall, it wasn't really an inconvenience. I only have 2 negative things to say, and Barry and his home, have nothing to do with them. First, the cleaning crews were clearly smoking pot outside on the balcony's while they were cleaning. It was a beautiful day, and I wanted to have the doorwall open, but the smell was too strong. Second, the spiders/webs outside are out of control. I feel like they could spend some money to have all the buildings sprayed. All in all, the visit was great! I would definitely consider it a destination to return to!

Very Nice Overall

Our unit was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed for a weeks stay. The furnishings themselves were a bit dated, especially the sofa. This was a small unit as was correctly described but we were well aware of that; enough room for 2 comfortably. The comfort of the Murphy bed was a surprise and a plus. We were initially skeptical of the bed but it was actually very nice to sleep on. Nice location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Traverse City but close enough to easily go there when we wanted to. Close to grocery shopping. The owner kept in contact before and during the rental and was easy to communicate with. No complaints at all but perhaps the owner will replace the sofa soon as it was definitely more than well worn.

Great location on the beach!

We had a nice stay here and would definitely stay again. When we arrived the electric stove was not working, which was pretty inconvenient, but we contacted the owner and he took care of it right away. It was fixed late that night. We enjoyed sitting by the beach and rented paddleboards for an afternoon. The unit is very small, but had all the amenities we needed! We will be back!

great bed, nice deck with partial view of water. kitchen loaded with accessories but very tight working space. nice bathroom and third floor location so no noise above you. fast internet and dock to walk out on at beach. good landlords and pool for your pleasure.

Very nice small condo and resort grounds perfect for a couple

Very nice property ! Lots of amenities I.E. beach , pool , pool deli and snack bar also jet ski and boat rentals. I would totally recommend this to friends.

My wife and I had a great time. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was located in a nice part of town and had a big grocery store and a Kmart within a half mile. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Nice little home base in TC

Much smaller than we expected, but was fine for the two of us for just two nights. Everything was very clean and the studio had everything we needed to be comfortable. We also appreciated having access to Grand Traverse resort amenities across the street and being close to area attractions. The view of the East Bay was very nice as well. We'd definitely stay here again for a short stay. Note: this is a 3rd floor studio, so be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs.

My wife and I moved to Northern Michigan 31 years ago, right after we married. We know Northern Michigan would be a great place to raise children one day. Since then we had two great kids, and come to find out we were right. Northern Michigan is an incredible place to raise children and enjoy life. We purchased a hospitality business in Grand Traverse County and realized the huge demand from others not living in Northern Michigan wanting to enjoy what we enjoy every day, the beauty of Traverse City.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We would take our children down to the beaches on the Bay as much as we could in the summer. after awhile we realized that we were at the Bay not only in the summer but in the fall, winter and spring as well. Since we loved being by the Bay so much we decided to purchase our piece of the Bay. So we saw and fell in love with the Condo in The Shores resort complex. It has everything we were looking for in a get away Condo.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Since owning our Condo we have really enjoyed the pool and hot tub that over look the Bay, the sandy beach where we play volleyball, and the Bay where we put in our kayaks and paddle around. Inside our condo, we try to get away but with the WiFi available we occasionally will log in. We definitely feel picking the top floor corner unit was a super choice. It is always quiet and the ceilings are vaulted. We often bring our bikes and hop on the TART trail for a great family bike ride. Car rides are easy because of the location. We visit downtown Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Old Mission Peninsula, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
