You'll love this cozy and romantic escape, on a private road right on Oneida Lake! Newly renovated and situated on a private road, this home feels welcoming and relaxing right as you step in! Comfortably sleeps 6 and has stunning views of the lake through the sun room or back patio.
The view was lovely. The house was a great size for the two of us. To note you canât use the 3 season room when itâs cold. The kitchen was a good size and we had plenty of space to store our food. We slept in the bedroom off of the living room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but I expected that for a lake cottage.I would recommend that whatever is sprayed in the 3 season room be eliminated. It was very strong and you could smell it in the house. I would stay here again. The neighborhood is very quiet.
Delightful cozy welcoming house right on the water. Beautiful sunset view. Very comfortable beds. As pictured. Plenty of coffee supplies! And very clean and tidy. Easy to find good restaurants in the area, and 15 min to superstores for supplies. We had a great stay.
Beautiful views and area. Water is wonderful for kayaking, but too shallow for boating near the property. Views were excellent and street is very quiet and peaceful. Indoors is cute and quaint. Some of the door knobs were difficult to operate to get outside and need some work. No real complaints, would stay there again for a family or couples getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay right on the lake! The neighborhood was quiet and great for talking walks. We enjoyed the firepit with a perfect view of the water. The pace was clean, updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Definitely wasnât a romantic lake house. All the doors are locked except for one you could not go out any other door in the house. We were told not to talk to the neighbours. We couldnât use the garbage cans because they werenât available until the last two days of our stay. The central Air Conditioner did not work it was 81 in that house many nights. we were told to take our shoes off in the mudroom. I put socks on and they turned very black. The Air Conditioner in the window next to the couch is so loud that we could not leave the Air Conditioner on and enjoy a movie on television. Thereâs no comfortable chairs in that house. Very hard to relax and enjoy yourself with raw iron sticking in your back. The backyard was almost impossible to enjoy fishing and there were no spaces available to stand. The one positive point was the view out the dining room window in the morning to see the water. Be very careful the front entrance looks like itâs sinking in and you could fall be very careful. In front of the sink thereâs a register on the floor that is loose. If you miss a step itâs very dangerous you could fall in the hole and break your leg. Donât stand too close to the one bedroom because the rod iron around the bottom will smash your toenails. The entrance to the bathroom was not a full door. It was about three fourths of a door to get into this very tiny bathroom. Be extremely careful backing out of the driveway there are two stones that unless you are very careful
Cut trip short by a day due to filth and smell. Could still smell it on our belongings after we left. Windows caked with spider webs, mini blinds broken with slats sticking out, dust caked onto light fixtures and fans. Went to open the blinds over the a/c and saw black mold all around the window frame. No towel racks or hooks in the bathroom. Only one bed was usable (it was very good, however) as the other sat on a saggy spring. No coat closet Stained rug. Burned out light bulbs. Overgrown plantings around the house. A trip hazard at the main entrance as the driveway in front of the entrance had sunk significant on the right side of the door frame and it was severely sloped left to right.
