It was great experience of staying here with friends. All of my friends satisfied as well. Very cozy, quiet, and pretty as the pictures shown. We had a great time and sleep well!
My family and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at Toymaker, and boy was it memorable! The home is an absolute dream, and the picture of zen my city self has been craving. The home is beautifully decorated, massive, yet cozy. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, fire place a definite plus. Cherry on top---hosts were super pleasant and responsive! My family and I would absolutely love to stay here again!
It was even better than the pictures. Some things that stood out were 1) how comfy the beds, comforters, and pillows were . 2) the open space with the beaming rays of sun coming in through all the windows 3) the location! Big property and close to downtown. No complaints at all! My family and I had a blast. Great for all ages, including infants as I brought mine and there was a crib for him. Host was great at communicating too.
We had a very pleasant time at the property; a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous pond and 2 geese families (1 with brand new goslings!) to greet us. Although the weather didn't cooperate to enjoy sitting in the yard, or enjoying the fire pit area we still had a good time. It was so helpful to have a good amount of space around us, for our time together that felt welcome and expansive too. Because the weather was damp and grey, I think we could've used a little more warmth in furnishings and perhaps floor covering, but we all managed it just fine. There were 3 places to easily gather and enjoy conversations, one of which was a big kitchen table near windows where we all convened. Truly appreciated the atmospherics of the lighting in the pond's isthmus, so lovely!, and magical. We needed a ToyMaker Farm sign at end of correct driveway, but again, we DID find our way and all was well. : )Walking along the lane was very pleasant once rain stopped, and the nearby restaurants and coffees were excellent, as host had suggested : ). Can only imagine how wonderful this is in the warm Summer weather! : )
