When the Lower Deck is rented, the Upper Deck (top floor) remains unoccupied as a courtesy for privacy.
Tucked behind native cedar trees along the north-end oceanfront avenue on Pawleys Island, this cozy second-row beach house offers an affordable option to rent only the first floor during the off-peak time of year.
Steeped in southern charm, time-stamped by original shiplap and beadboard, heart-pine floors, old-fashioned window canopies and classic Charleston green trim on white exterior, this vintage 1940âs home provides plenty of modern conveniences and comfort.
Guests who reserve only the first floor, known as the Lower Deck, have full access to all outdoor amenities for their private use, including both screened front porches where the ebb and flow of the nearby surf sets the clock to island time.
On the Lower Deck, the open-concept common area provides a fully-equipped, updated kitchen as well as dining and sitting areas. The primary bedroom with king bed is in the front. Two more bedrooms and an updated full bath are accessed on the other side of the central kitchen where an additional sink and stacked washer/dryer can also be found.
Separate outdoor stairs provide access to each front porch and the back decks are accessible via a shared staircase. On ground level are two enclosed outdoor showers with rain shower head and hot/cold taps, hammock, grill, covered parking, and fenced yard.

BEACH ACCESS: Guests can find easy beach access just three doors down heading south on Atlantic Ave or four doors down heading north.

LENGTH OF STAY: Flexible timeframes are available outside of the peak summer season. Last minute stays over peak weeks for first floor bookings only may be considered. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome. NOTE: When only the first floor is rented, the other floor remains unoccupied as a courtesy for privacy.
DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs, maximum 25 lbs each. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.
