The Kayak Cabin is a romantic rustic cabin retreat for adventurers and those seeking a private relaxing stay with a warm luxury cabin feel. Located in a barn on the back of our 1.4 acre property in the valley between the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, it is completely private. It features a 43` bathroom TV viewable from a 2 person farm-style claw tub, Luxurious rustic log bed, couch bed, and 75` bedroom TV! Enjoy FREE Kayak, Stand Up Paddleboard, Canoe, and River Tube Rentals for all guests during your stay!

The Kayak Cabin, the adjacent outdoor dining area with the table, chairs, and Smoker Grill. The rest of the yard is shared with the host family. You can also say hi to our 2 cute pigmy goats Gregory (brown and white), and Phillipe` (black and brown).

We do love to meet our guests but really leave the amount of interaction up to you.

We also have kids, 2 goats, and a friendly dog name Kai who you may occasionally hear playing in our large 1.4 acre yard.

Other things to note
Please remember that you`re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. Also this Cabin is NOT for those who struggle to go upstairs or step into free standing bath tubs.
HOUSE RULES


The NEIGHBORHOOD quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

We do not allow parties in the home.

Pets are not allowed.

No smoking inside; you may use the area on the East side of the building far enough away that smoke will not get sucked in by the AC or windows.

No illegal substances are allowed.

No candles or other open flames.

Remove trash If needed, there is an additional trash can provided outside the door.

Visitors are allowed.

Please close and lock all windows, doors, and turn off ACs and lights when you leave the property.

Flush only toilet paper and natural waste in the toilet. DO NOT flush any sanitary items, wipes, paper towels, or other “flushable” items. There is a trash can next to the bathroom sink for everything else. The sewage pump can get damaged, and is expensive to service, if anything else goes down the toilet.

If you break or damage something, please let us know and together we can arrange for its replacement or repair.

You may pet the goats but please don’t feed them people food. They do like weeds if you want to pull some. The black one is Phillipe’ and the White and Brown one is Gregory. They are friendly, but watch your fingers if you pet/feed them.

Please do not open the windows with the ACs in them. The ACs are screwed down and attached to the windows to help them stay in place.

Consider locking the door when inside as our friendly dog “Kai” has learned how to pull the lever down and open the door.
