Alpine Haven is the perfect home to recharge and have fun with the family. Amenities galore provide swimming, reading nooks, a media room, and plenty of space for a group.

Without a doubt, the main highlight of the house is the pool. Custom built by the owners, the pool is accessed directly from the house and, as both the pool and the terraced room can be heated, is comfortable to use in all weather. The glass walls completely open up to allow an outside experience, and in the summer, the roof is partially open to reveal the sky. It’s really amazing and a great addition to the property for days when the sun isn’t shining on us!

Inside, the modern home is geared to family living, with gorgeous bright spaces and contemporary furnishings. A large living and dining area, as well as a full media room will provide plenty of space to be with friends and family. For rest, the house offers sleeping on all three levels. The main level has easy access to a lovely guest bedroom with sitting area and fireplace, perfect for perhaps seniors who do not wish to use the stairs. Upstairs are two further bedrooms; one the principal with its own balcony, the other a nursery with crib and trundle bed, ideal for families with children. The lower level has a fourth bedroom with queen bed. All three floors have full hallway bathrooms, with showers on the main and lower level, and a shower and soaking tub on the upper.

For dinner, 10 minutes will put you in a great restaurant in Stone Ridge, 15 minutes to Kingston or just a little further west, Woodstock. Or take advantage of the homes’ well stocked kitchen, where the professional grade appliances and island seating will no doubt contribute to the makings of a great meal.

Outside, there is a dining deck with charcoal BBQ, a firepit with seating, a tree swing, and a creek just a short hike / walk away.

Like all Upstate Place properties, this home has a crib, highchair, baby bath etc. available to make even the smallest guest’s stay welcoming and easy.

Alpine Haven would ideally suit a multi generational family or groups of friends vacationing together.

PLEASE NOTE
The house has 3 levels and a step up to the entrance, it may not be suitable for those who have difficulty with steps / stairs.

Unfortunately this home does not accept dogs or pets.

This house is in a rural environment and surrounded by countryside, farms and wildlife. While it’s wonderful to observe the eagles, deer, bears, and adorable chipmunks, it can also mean you will hear coyotes and foxes at night, and encounter the less cute mice, flies, snakes, ants, bees and ticks. There is very little to be done about it, but by keeping doors closed or screened and food in its appropriate storage, unwelcome guests will stay outside where they belong.
