I was so worried that our trip was going to be a letdown because of the weather. The house was super cozy and very pet friendly. We got to still spend plenty of time at the beach despite the weather since the house was close enough that we could watch for changes and go when the opportunities came. When the weather was against us, it was the perfect place for DoorDash and Monopoly. I would stay again.

This home was perfect! We had such a great time. The home is so clean and the host was amazing! It is pet friendly with a beautiful fenced in backyard with a fire-pit and covered patio. We had the babys birthday party there during our stay. It was perfect. I cooked a taco dinner for everyone in the fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend this home. You wont be disappointed! We will definitely rent again!

This was a dream!! Perfect location, big grass backyard, and perfect size for our family :) Host was kind and communicated so quickly! We will be back for more memories!

This was a great place to stay. The only down fall was the upstairs noise of people walking around. The yard was amazing. It was peaceful until it was time to go to bed. Bring earplugs and you do just fine. Overall property was great.

Couldn’t believe we found a place across the street from the ocean that didn’t require any steps to enter/exit and had a wonderful fenced in backyard.

We have stayed in many houses/rentals in this area and other beaches as well. This one was by far the best, and had everything you could even think of needing on vacation already in the house. It was very clean and smelled very good walking in. We decided to bring the dogs with us this vacation and this house was perfect with the backyard, but still right in the beach. One of our dogs is very nervous in new environments, and this house felt like home to him immediately. One night we had some company so we had 5 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs and it felt very comfortable and spacious. The whole trip we didn’t even wear shoes because we were that close to the beach. You walk maybe 20 steps and the boardwalk to the beach is right there. This house has every pot and pan you could need, spices, a ton of utensils and cutlery, plates, cups, coffee mugs, boogie boards, fire pit outside, a sand sifter (we found our first shark tooth this trip with this) and many more. Kathy is also amazing, kind and got back to us quickly!

I really enjoyed my stay. The back yard was beautiful and would have been out there more but for the weather, but my dog loved it. His first trip anywhere! The kitchen was well stocked and even had treats for us to enjoy, plus linens and detergent for dishes and laundry. We didn't cook but could have if we wanted to. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great!

We just loved Carolina Beach & our stay here! Our 2 little dogs loved the big fenced in yard and we loved hanging out back there as well! The house was clean but needs some updating. When the unit upstairs was occupied, it was very noisy. The beach was very close and provided us with many hours of sun bathing and shell hunting! We also rented Kathy’s golf cart and had a great time with it! Took it down to the pier a few times and that was a very nice beach too! Took it to the Celtic creamery for excellent ice cream cones! Great memories!

Family Time

Wondered if the unit would be large enough to accommodate 2 families with children and GrandPa - found it to be perfectly fine in every way ! The sleeping quarters great - kitchen area and eating areas great - gathering areas inside and out great! Everything was cleaned well and supplied well. Thank you for the beach chairs available! We will definitely consider staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage in Carolina Beach! It was perfect for our family—especially with the ground floor entrance that made it easy for our mother, who uses a walker. The backyard was a true highlight, both for our Yorkie who had space to explore, and for us to relax and unwind. We ended up spending more time in the lovely yard than even on the beach—it was perfect for sunset cocktails and quiet afternoons with a book.Kathy was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive both before our arrival and throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing spot at Carolina Beach.

Perfect location. Amusement park about a mile away. Kure Pier approx 4 miles. Ocean across the street. Lovely condo with AMAZING fenced in back yard. I love the freedom of letting my autistic 4 year old run in freedom with the high fence around the entire back yard. Kathy is an amazing host. She makes sure she can answer questions and help in any way. We will be going back.

Carolina Beach

One reason we picked this property was the fenced backyard for our dogs. We didn't realize how nice it would be. The large yard was surrounded by a well secured privacy fence; no chance of any dog getting out. There was outdoor setting on a raised deck with a gas fire pit. The outdoor shower with hot water was a nice bonus. This property was ideally located just across the street from the beach access, so you could easily come and go to as you wished. Beach chairs and other beach items were available. The place was spotless and very comfortable for our group of 6. Kathy, the owner, made the atmosphere very homey. Everything we needed for cooking various meals, including a few dinners, were available in the kitchen. All the appliances worked well. We would definitely consider renting this property again should we return to Carolina Beach. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The outside dog play area was amazing and the cottage was nice. My only disappointment was the walk to the beach was further than reported. All senior citizens and only two of us could make the walk. Thank you for our stay.

We had the very best week at Carolina Beach with Kathy as our host! I only rated check in as okay due to a minor mishap which was fixed quickly with a call to Kathy. She was extremely responsive and we will definitely be back!
