Rencontrez le Prince Royal! L'emplacement et le luxe sont ce que nous pensons lorsque nous voyons cette magnifique péniche, située sur le célèbre Prinsengracht, près de la maison d'Anne Frank. C'est une résidence flottante élégante et confortable dans le centre du quartier Jordaan. Décoré avec goût et attention par un architecte d'intérieur professionnel. Le Prince Royal est l'endroit idéal pour une expérience nautique unique au centre-ville d'Amsterdam. Vous avez une vue directe sur le Prinsengracht et l'emblème de Westerchurch. Le salon est lumineux et brillant, spacieux, confortable et lumineux. Le parquet caractéristique associé à un mobilier design confère à cette zone une identité propre et luxueuse. Il y a 2 chambres caractéristiques et 2 salles de bain complètes à l'arrière et à l'avant du navire. Les chambres sont un peu plus basses mais cela fait partie de l'histoire et du charme de cette péniche. Les deux chambres ont deux grands lits doubles avec deux matelas séparés côte à côte (160 cm et 180 cm X 200 cm), tous deux avec une télévision à écran plat. Romantique et confortable!

Les deux salles de bains ont un radiateur sèche-serviettes et le chauffage au sol. Les salles de bains lumineuses et brillantes offrent à la fois un lavabo et une douche modernes. Les draps et les serviettes sont fournis.

Le pont extérieur

À l'extérieur de cet ancien navire de fret se trouve une belle terrasse avec une vue unique le long du canal. Vous trouverez une belle grande terrasse, avec chaises, coussins et plantes. Parce que c'est l'hiver, nous ne pouvons pas encore faire de photos, nous devons attendre le printemps. Des cygnes blancs passeront avec les bateaux fluviaux. De l'autre côté du canal, vous voyez la maison d'Anne Frank et la célèbre Westerchurch. L'année dernière, une vidéo a été réalisée à partir des environs: vous êtes au milieu du centre historique d'Amsterdam, mais à cause de l'eau et des impressionnantes maisons de canaux historiques autour de vous, l'atmosphère est détendue et paisible.

La timonerie vous offre cependant la possibilité la meilleure et la plus exclusive de profiter du cadre spectaculaire de cette péniche. La timonerie est accessible de l'intérieur et est plus haute que le reste du bateau. Dans cet ancien quartier du capitaine, c'est un endroit de luxe pour s'asseoir et profiter par exemple d'un verre de vin gratuit du bar avec réfrigérateur à vin!

Fantastic Experience on the Princess

This was the highlight of our trip so far around the UK and Europe. The house boat was amazing, well equipped, walkable to everything, had comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms, and near fabulous code! Perfect start did our family of four.

The Prince Royal is a fabulous property that combines the privacy of a very old house boat with the most modern interior details, provisions and amenities. The location is immediately close to everything and Chamelli aims to please as a warm host!

Amsterdam boathouse magic

The boathouse is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bedrooms have very low ceilings so if you are tall, this may be an issue for you. The location of the boathouse is fantastic and we enjoyed afternoons sitting on the deck and watching the world go by.

Awesome location and facility!

We loved this stay! Such a fun and vibrant location! The houseboat was immaculate and had everything we needed. The “Captain’s Nest” was an unexpected bonus and we used it daily. So fun to watch the crowds waiting for their boat tours and the other various boats go by. Very comfortable beds, too.

Perfect Amsterdam Vacation Stay

The boat is perfectly located in the Jordaan with both indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view along the canal. The boat was clean and had everything we needed. The beds and sitting area were very comfortable. The hosts were very communicative leading up to the stay and check in was a breeze. Perfect place to meet up with friends

We stayed on board the Prince Royal with friends. We all enjoyed separate space (2 separate bedroom/bathroom spaces) but a large living room and kitchen to share some good times. Although our weather was a little cooler than we had planned, we also enjoyed the deck area.

Great location

The property was exactly as advertised. There were ladders and low ceilings but nothing to impact our stay. We were 3 sisters over 60 and had no problems. The location was great. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and it was very quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again. The top room was our favorite place to hang out.

We had an amazing time, the boat was clean, decorated with great attention to detail and comfort. The boat is very spacious in a great location but still quiet. The hosts were friendly and responded to our requests very quickly as well as gave great suggestions for restaurants. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boat in a fabulous location

Thoroughly loved staying on this immaculate canal boat. It’s in a beautiful location which is close walking distance to grocery stores & attractions. Stayed with my husband & 2 adult children & we all really enjoyed our stay here. Cosy comfortable beds with a large warm living area & kitchen. All beautifully decorated & really clean. Great to have the 2 bathrooms too. Host was great & easy to communicate with.

Spectacular houseboat in excellent location

The prince royal was excellent- it is stunningly decorated, has excellent levels of cleanliness and is in the heart of Amsterdam and within walking distance of all the places you would want to visit. The host of the boat was very accommodating, friendly and was exceptionally helpful. The boat is peaceful and offers great views of the city. We slept brilliantly and found the boat comfortable for our stay. We have booked again for next year and can’t wait to return.

Great Experience!

Chamelli was an excellent host. She helped us prior to our visit and met us at the boat at the agreed upon time to review everything with us. She provided a nice bottle of wine for our stay. The accommodations were exactly the experience we were looking for. 2 separate suites for our family. You do get to see alot of canal traffic during the day, but it is quiet in the evening. The main kitchen/sitting area was comfortable for us to congregate. I had stayed in a canal house on a previous experience so this was different and very enjoyable. Won’t find many locations on the canal as good!

Best location, and on a boat!

Rachell was a great hostess. Met us at the boat early and made us feel quite at home. The boat is beautifully appointed, and we lacked for very little. It is almost directly across from the Anne Frank house (get your tickets before you arrive!), and we had a great time watching the tour boats and bicycles go by. The weather was "adventurous". Snow our first day, hail our second day, thunderstorm our 3rd night + sideways wind. But still a wonderful time and a beautiful city. The beds were super comfy (especially in the forward cabin). We accidentally slept in a couple of times, the beds were so cozy. Wish we could have used the captain's room to hang out a bit more, but the cold weather was a bit too much for that space. Highly recommend this place. It was walkable to almost everything, and in a gorgeous neighborhood with lots of restaurant and pub options, with a grocery store about a 5-7 min walk away. Ceilings in the rooms are low - so mind your head! We eventually got used to it, and it wasn't much of a bother. If we find our way back to Amsterdam, we would definitely look into booking here again.

The boat was fab and the location was excellent

The living area and the beds were great and comfortable however beds were only suited for 2 couples really They were originally described as queen beds which could configured separately or as one bed - in fact they were two single beds in a frame sitting together together - space between them was not possible. More clarity over this would have been very helpful in our decision making as three single ladies.

Great houseboat experience

Our family of 4 had a lovely time on the houseboat which is very well equipped and in a lovely location with lots of small cafes, restaurants etc nearby and opposite Anne Franks house. We spent 4 days here enjoying the views and walked to everything we wanted to see in Amsterdam. The beds were super cosy and warm and the houseboat was well heated which was essential given it was very cold outside when we were there. The ceiling height in the main bedroom is low (you can’t stand upright in the room) but even my 6foot tall husband managed fine- the boat is surprisingly large inside. Sitting in the “turret” watching the world go by with a coffee/wine was a highlight !

I wish we were shown the entryway as it made loading and unloading of luggage difficult. We did not like that the heat was turned to 20 when the boat keeper was there. We were from a warmer climate and it was difficult to keep warm enough until we put it to 22. Also there was a leak in the smaller bedroom. It has been there for a while as the comforter had stained in the spot.

Best location in Amsterdam

This houseboat experience was phenomenal. It was very clean and well kept. The bathrooms were modern. The floor plan is excellent. It is well lit and has plenty of plug ins. It is the best location in the heart of the canal ring to see the sights and get around. The Ann Frank house is directly across the canal from the boat and we sat on the deck enjoying the view and watching the people enjoying themselves on shore and in the canal boats that passed by. I sat in the captain’s room upstairs enjoying peace and quiet. The wi-fi worked seamlessly. The tv connected to most channels and we especially enjoyed Netflix and CNN. However, there were drawbacks you need to be aware of. You cannot stand in one of the two bedrooms so you have to bend over the time you are not in the bed. Also, access to the boat is via a narrow stairway of about 8 steps going down from street level to the living area. If you can get past these two drawbacks, the rest of the experience is fabulous.
