The area is nice; the property is nestled between a mall and several stores/strip malls. There's a ton of shopping and eating. The property is only 15ish minutes from downtown Wheeling.Overall, the property is clean. The rooms are on the smaller side, and there aren't many rooms (it's 3 stories). The indoor pool is quaint; perfect for a little swim. The free breakfast was definitely smaller than most BWs I've been to, and, although good, was disappointing.The listing: The management group is based on Florida; they listed the property as Bridgeport instead of St. Clairsville. The listing address was in the middle of a highway. I notified the host of this. Before notifying them, I searched the official Best Western website and found the correct address. They were vehemently condescending until I sent screencaps of their incorrect listing. As for the stay: It was nice until the venue we were in town for cancelled their event. We paid for 2 nights, and we only stayed 1 night. The front desk guy's uncle owns the BW; he clearly stated he wouldn't refund the night and that he can do whatever he wants to. I explained to our VRBO host the situation; they didn't care, and sided with the property manager.Never again. Block this host and this property.
