4th of July visit

This property is beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable beds, linens and couch. We loved sitting outside and listening to the birds. Truly a magical place and perfect for our visit. Our family is in Batesville so was a little drive but worth it to come back to this river house to relax after a fun day.

Family getaway.

We met our kids and grandkids here for a little 3 day getaway. The place is beautiful very clean. And well supplied with anything you might need. Beautiful deck over looking the river. And Crystal was a great host.

What Perfect Place!

We came to relax, fish and swim. It did not disappoint. The kayaks were a great time for the kids. And the house is amazing. Beautifully designed, fantastic layout and amazing deck! We will be back.

We've stayed in many places and this was truly one of the best. Despite the extreme heat, we were able to enjoy the covered deck most of the day into the night. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The water bottles and all the games were a nice touch. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get a 2 mile walk in each morning with the bonus of seeing the goats and all their kids. The boat ramp was close, though not a great swimming hole. The yard was spacious and would be great for kids with a lot of energy to burn. This was perfect for a quiet retreat where we only left to go for walks. The closest towns are a solid drive, so pack in what you need. Our host, Crystal, was kind enough to allow us the option of checking in early, though our travel schedule didn't permit. She was excellent with communications.

July 4th Getaway

This property was just what we were looking for. The host was very pleasant and even left a little welcome basket. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and swinging in the daybed. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need to feel at home. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. When we are looking for another getaway we will definitely book this property again.

A getaway from the dorm room

This was a perfect hidden gem! The amenities, the location, the property, the river access, the cleanliness, the communication with the host, everything was top notch! Home is beautiful and comfortable! Our college boy enjoyed getting away from campus for a couple of days and loved having a little feel like home get away.

Locust Grove AR Cabin

Wonderful weekend staying in this cabin on the White River! Cozy and just right for 2 couples. Crystal was very responsive! Nice to have plenty of large towels and cloths. Cabin was stocked with anything needed. Would recommend to anyone!

We love the house it is so nice and clean. It’s like a home away from home. The back porch is so comfortable, we could have just stayed there all the time. So nice to just walk down to the river and fish or just take some chairs and sit. It’s so peaceful ❤️we are already planning to go back.😊. K&L Williams

What a beautiful little spot on the White River! The house is even better in person. Beautiful view of the River through the trees. Lots of privacy between the houses. We stayed over the 4th of July holiday, and the neighborhood was very peaceful. There are stairs that go down the the water from the house, which was great to launch the kayak, but the boat launch is not very far if we'd needed to use that. We loved the swinging daybed on the porch - it was perfect to set up the backgammon board. Super comfy bed in the main bedroom. It was just my husband and I, but the second bedroom was really nice, and the "Kids Club" bunk/loft was pretty cool - nieces and nephews would love it. House was well stocked with toiletries and supplies, and the kitchen had what we needed for the cooking we wanted to do. Easy drive from both Mountain View and Batesville, but we'd drive the nearly six hours from Kansas City to visit again for sure. Thanks Crystal!
