Lake Life Tiny House located on top of the water - Pool - 3 Kayaks - Beautiful!
Downtown Douglas located 6 miles away! Come enjoy a relaxing stay in a new Wood Cabin Tiny House on the water! This house is furnished with two lofts, one containing a queen bed, and one full bed. The couch also folds out into a full bed. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies, Keurig, stove top and small refrigerator. Lake front pool is available during daylight. 3 Kayaks (1 tandem, 1 large fishing and 1 smaller single) are available anytime to explore the cypress grove only a few hundred yards from the house. Property is shared with Lake Life Bungalow also available for short term rent. You will pull into a dead end street with the property surrounded by water on all sides. When you park, there is a covered carport/boat port with a fenced gate that you will pass thru to enter the Tiny House. With the tiny house sitting right on the water and only about 15 feet from a water fall, if there has been any rain recently, you will enjoy the calming sound of the waterfall and plentiful fish. The main house is occupied by the host, with the lake side pool in the back yard of the main house. You will find a gas grill by the pool and a pellet smoker grill for your use under the carport. The property is shared with a second short term rental listed as Lake Life Bungalow.
Beautiful place. Hosts were very nice. Was able to relax on the river, shop downtown and hike Broxton Rocks waterfall 30 minutes away. Will definitely be back.
This is second visit to this tiny house. Both my wife and I love staying so close to the lake with great views, and a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The mini-split AC works well, good channels on the TV, fast internet, and above all, very clean. Sam, our host was very accommodating towards our needs when a problem with the toilet occured on our first visit. We had no issues on this, our second visit. Yes, I recommend this property.
We had a great time! There is so much to do - kayaking, swimming in the pool, fishing. Great places to eat in Douglas, too! The house is obviously tiny, so it's kind of like camping with a TV, toilet and shower which was fun. There is no real space to just hang out inside for more than two people but as long as the weather is nice, you will not want to be inside anyway! Sam was so nice and so were his boys! Our two boys had a great time with his sons and the guests in the adjacent bungalow as well!
My brother and I had a very nice three days at the tiny house. We are both seniors who had no problems with the stairs. We were in Douglas to visit a sister with memory problems. We will definitely be back.
My daughter and I had a great time here. The property is at the end of a neighborhood and very secluded from neighbors. They have another rental on the property. But no one was there so we had the whole place to ourselves. The pool was great and you can fish 5ft from the front door. They also have kayaks you can take out. Town is less than a ten minute drive. Lots of local restaurants and a few chain restaurants. A little Main St shopping district with boutique clothing stores and antique shops. We'll be back.
