My biggest concern about leaving a great review is that I'll have more competition for our next stay here. What was great about our stay:• The unit is very comfortable, well maintained, and well furnished with kitchenware, coffee, linens (so. many. towels.) and other things you'd need.• So much to keep our 2 year old entertained! Books, puzzles, a table that became a coloring station, a playhouse in the backyard, and all the bubble wands you could ask for—we even got to take some home!• Great proximity to the lake and town, especially if you want maximum walkability and minimal driving, as we did. We only drove twice during our stay: once to get groceries and once to visit friends in Holland.• Barb is a gem of a host and so friendly. It's evident from chatting with her how much pride she takes in making the property a wonderful place to stay.• Access to laundry! Critical for anyone traveling with little ones. What wasn't great about our stay:• It ended. What you might want to know:• Yes, there are 2 bathrooms! (The listing was unclear to us on that point.)• The 2nd bedroom is a bit of a tight squeeze to fit an inflatable toddler bed (as we did) or a larger travel crib. It's doable, but just be aware. Barb kindly provided a pack & play that was too small for our son but would be great for a 1 year old.• Both front and back stairs are a tad steeper than you might expect, but very manageable.Loved our stay and will certainly be back.
