An 8-mile stretch of undeveloped, pristine beaches are located on both the gulf side and the Intracoastal side. Johnson Beach is the designated swimming area at this gulf-front park and offers ample parking, restrooms, restroom and shower facilities, grills, picnic pavilions, seasonal lifeguards, and a boardwalk trail. Perdido Key is a less developed, nature-filled beach community with a laid-back vibe. It is well known as a boater's paradise. Fresh gulf seafood is available at most of the popular local restaurants and there are great food trucks located all around the area. Fantastic shopping and the many attractions of Downtown Pensacola (or Orange Beach) are just a short drive away. Perdido Kids Park is right across the road from Blue Views. The back entrance to NAS Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels Flight Team, is just a 3-4 minute drive to the East. This is also home of the Naval Aviation Museum which has free admission and is open to the public.
