Fall in Cullowhee

Perfect time to visit - fall foliage in full effect!!!!! The house is gorgeous and has the perfect location! Top of the mountain but not a bad drive but still has great views. Feels secluded but has neighbors that you can't see or hear. A quick drive to everywhere - 10-20 minutes to all other small little towns and about an hour or so to other bigger towns, Ashville, Hendersonville, etc. The restaurants and shops in dwntwn Sylva are AMAZING!!!!! Don't miss the drive along the river to Webster....absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Property, Great Location

This is a great property and the house was very nice. The only negative is there are no blinds or curtains in the master bedroom, which was very annoying. Aside from that, it was a great place. If there were blinds in the master, I’d definitely stay again.

Cullowee Casablanc Cabin

Absolutely beautiful home, and view. Even had fast internet. Off the grid feeling while only being about 15 minutes away from a large store. Perfect for a weekend getaway, we stayed a while week. The property management team was very accommodating with our last minute booking, and very communicative. We ran into a few issues, but nothing that affected our stay in any significant way. Highly recommend.

The neighborhood is serene, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching and listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze. The cabin is close to the lovely town of Silva, which has wonderful restaurants, and Lake Glenville is at the top of the mountain, where we took a fabulous pontoon tour. The cabin has all the amenities of home, so remaining there, simply relaxing and spending time with family, is certainly tempting.

The refrigerator freezer was not cooling properly and before we recognized that about half of our food items were spoiled. And that contributed to excessive garbage. We were able to use coolers the remainder of our stay. Outdoor area nice but we did not have the opportunity or time to enjoy much of it. Overall very nice accommodations and decor! Parking are in outside was very dark. A light would have made it much safer.
