Le lac Saranac est une station ouverte toute l'année avec beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Cette maison est parfaitement située à 1 mile des bars et restaurants du centre-ville de Saranac Lake, mais isolée sur une route privée calme. Aucun voisin ne peut être vu de la propriété. À 1 mile de la rampe de mise à l'eau de Lake Flower, à 1 mile du centre-ville de Saranac Lake, à 3 miles de Mt Pisgah, à 7 miles de Lake Placid & Olympic Village, à 19 miles de Whiteface Mountain, Memorial Drive et North Pole Santa's Village. Il y a des plages, des rampes de mise à l'eau, du kayak, des sentiers de randonnée, du snow tubing, de la motoneige, du ski de fond X à proximité. Il y a aussi le saut à ski, le bobsleigh et le patin à glace public à Lake Placid. Location de bateaux disponibles à proximité pour un plaisir total sur la chaîne des lacs de Saranac. Nous avons 2 kayaks et un canot disponibles pour une utilisation dans le lac Flower à proximité ou le deuxième étang. Cette maison en bois rond dispose de 2 grandes chambres au rez-de-chaussée, toutes deux avec des lits queen-size. Une grande salle de bain avec douche sur pied également au rez-de-chaussée. Au niveau inférieur est une entrée privée grande 3ème chambre qui a un lit superposé double et un lit queen size. Une 2ème salle de bain avec baignoire est située au niveau inférieur. La chambre du niveau inférieur peut gérer toute une famille seule. Un salon ouvert avec une belle cheminée en pierre artisanale vous gardera au chaud la nuit. Table de salle à manger extensible pour 8 personnes et cuisine entièrement équipée récemment rénovée. Un canapé-lit est dans le salon. Sur le côté, un porche grillagé et une terrasse arrière avec une table / chaises de patio et un barbecue à gaz en acier inoxydable. (propane fourni). Dans la cour latérale est un tout nouveau patio / foyer avec chaises Adirondack pour profiter d'un feu de camp et se détendre. Laveuse / sécheuse est fourni. Wi-Fi haut débit gratuit fourni. Lit pliant et matelas pneumatique. Téléviseur HD de 50 pi dans le salon et téléviseur à DEL de 32 po au rez-de-chaussée. Blue ray DVD et barre de son. Thanksgiving in Saranac Lake

This is our second stay at the house. It is cozy, warm, and inviting and has a perfect location. Tucked away under the pines but minutes from town. And we had snow!! A wonderful holiday.

We have stayed in this home 3 times now and every year we love it. It just feels like home. Always clean and always ready for us to stay. Jason is so helpful and couldnt ask for a more responsive property manager. From the beautiful property and all the pretty trees. My dog also loved roaming around and playing with the girls in the snow. As usual cant wait to come back next year.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

The property was clean and quiet. We had one issue with the hot water which was resolved immediately. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to escape to the Adirondacks.

lovely Adirondack vacation home

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The house is spacious and accommodated our family which included an infant and a toddler. The house is conveniently located about a mile from the new bike trail and it was a short drive to Lake Placid. The owners were responsive to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy cabin for family ski getaway

Very clean, well equipped and cozy cabin in the beautiful woods. Perfect for family getaway in the Adirondacks. Comfortable beds and living space and a short drive to all that Lake Placid has to offer. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

So Cozy, Clean, and Comfortable!

The property is even nicer than the photos! We were very pleased with everything. It was immaculate. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The instructions were comprehensive and very helpful. Jason was very easy to reach. We are already planning our next stay!

Beautiful and Spacious home

The house as a whole, was very clean and well appointed. The main bathroom was very nice. Everything needed for an awesome family stay was there. From, the kitchen which had most anything needed for cooking. The outside layout was great. The fire pit for s'mores was really nice. They actually had all the supplies for s'mores too, which was a surprise. The deck outside, and enclosed porch was great too. We had such a restful stay, and would certainly return.

Family reunion

This cozy home in the woods provided the perfect setting for our family reunion. The large dining table set the place for warm family gatherings. With the house set back a comfortable distance from the road, we could be assured that our young grandchildren would be safe too. Last, the house is located in a convenient location enabling us to easily take advantage of the Adirondack setting.

We really loved the house and the area. It was all we hoped for. We needed a rest and we got it. 👍

The house was very easy to rent. It was very charming and rustic. It was clean and the landlord was easily accessible. We would rent it again if we decided to go back to the Lake Placid area. Thank you.

Great Experience!

Completely private well maintained home located right outside of Saranac Lake and 10-15 minutes from Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to bring our dogs which was a huge plus. Our host communicated well the property was nicer than even described. We made use of the gorgeous fireplace anytime we weren't enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and host and we will look to book again in the future!

The property had a log cabin feel in a cottage style home. Very quiet neighborhood with privacy. Location was fantastic. 15 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to the center of the town of Saranac Lake. Ample accommodations if you want the deep woods cabin feel without being away from civilization. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity presented itself!

Nice holiday get-away!

My husband and I took our parents away to boat in the Saranac Lake region. The weather was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this home - where it was easy to prepare big breakfasts before setting off on our adventures for the day! We did not take advantage of the fireplace (not needed) nor the outdoor firepit - but that was due to the presence of black flies and mosquitoes! They too, it seems , were enjoying the exceptionally warm weather that weekend! Great home - provided all we needed for a relaxing get-away!

House in the woods

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards. Thank you Jason & Dora for sharing your get away place with us.

Cozy cabin in the woods

Highly recommend this property for a stay in the Lake Placid region. Communication with homeowner was prompt and clear, and check in was a breeze! The cabin was spotlessly clean, very cozy, warm and welcoming. The decor matched the surroundings and gave the house an upscale, rustic feel. All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, glassware, cookware, etc. you could possible need. There were even spices available in the cabinet! The wood burning stove/fireplace was great, adding warmth and charm to the living area. Some wood was provided by the homeowner...and more wood was easily available to purchase at nearby stores. The location was convenient to virtually all of the attractions in the area, with drive times generally less than 15 minutes. 5 STARS+++

Great getaway

The property was fantastic. Very quiet and nestled in the woods. Just what we hoped for a cabin in the woods. Plus it was only a 10 minute drive to Lake placid.

This welcoming log home is a vacation of its own!

This log home was one of the highlights of our very enjoyable week long stay in Saranac Lake. It has such natural, rustic beauty. The views of the woods outside each window add to its inside beauty and peace. There were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and everyone had room to spread out! The very large lower level bedroom was perfect for my daughter's family of four at the end of the day. Her two toddlers (4 & 2 yrs) had loads of fun inside and outside of the spacious, clean, well kept home. After our daily Adirondack adventures, we enjoyed returning to its comfort and peace. Grocery stores and restaurants were not far. We would love to return to this peaceful log home!

This is a very comfortable home that can accommodate a large family. Beautiful private area yet so close to town. As Neil Peart says, the best Adirondack cabins have a warm fireplace and good internet. We have both.
