Niché au calme sur les rives de la rivière Vermilion, Bayou Rose attend votre visite dans le magnifique quartier historique d'Abbeville. Notre chalet privé réservé aux adultes est situé au cœur du pays cajun avec nos nombreux festivals et restaurants de fruits de mer. Une atmosphère tranquille et sereine où l'on peut observer les canards et les péniches en descendant la rivière. Écoutez les sons réconfortants des oiseaux qui chantent ou les cloches de l'église qui sonnent en amont de la rivière pendant que vous sirotez votre café du matin sur le porche ou le quai privé donnant sur la rivière.

Les équipements complets incluent des savons d'aromathérapie, un panier gratuit avec une variété d'articles de petit-déjeuner continental pour la durée de votre séjour, du café, du lait, du jus et de l'eau sont également gratuits. Et n'oublions pas une portion gratuite de Cajun BOUDIN! Préparez votre propre petit-déjeuner cajun dans votre cuisine bien équipée avec accès à un barbecue surplombant la rivière Vermilion.

Notre chalet privé d'une chambre a un lit queen dans la chambre et un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Baignoire et douche pleine grandeur avec laveuse et sécheuse. Le détergent est gratuit. Le salon et la cuisine offrent une vue du sol au plafond sur la rivière Vermilion. L'air et la chaleur centrale, les ventilateurs de plafond partout rendent notre chalet confortable toute l'année.

Nous sommes à 15 minutes de Lafayette, 90 minutes de Baton Rouge, 2 1/2 heures de la Nouvelle-Orléans, ce qui facilite les excursions d'une journée. Venez profiter des nombreux bons restaurants de notre petite ville pittoresque et des nombreux festivals qui ne finissent jamais.

Arrivée en véhicule, avion ou bateau. De bons moments sur le bayou vous attendent à Bayou Rose. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Wonderful Hospitality!

Anne and Mike made us feel like we were staying with family during our stay at the cabin for a family wedding. They had breakfast items and a warm welcome for us The cabin was spotless, and the view of the bayou from the porch and dock were spectacular and oh so peaceful. Our highest recommendation!

Vows on the Vermillion

Anne, our host was so easy to talk to and made our stay very welcoming with mini pecan pies, cinnamon bread and a personal welcome note! I stayed one night with the bride to be and then the newly married couple enjoyed the rest of the weekend. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed plus so many unexpected extras. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed our time on the back porch and deck. The cottage is filled with local art, but very tastefully done giving the cottage so much character. I highly recommend giving this little hideaway a chance, there is so much more than the pictures online. RELAXING Bayou Rose is what I've decided to call it

Beautiful and Cozy Cottage

We loved our stay here. It was incredibly cozy and has such a beautiful view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a homey and relaxing place to stay in the area.

Beautiful cozy spot on the Bayou!

We enjoyed our stay and Anne and Mike were so responsive and kind. The house was clean and well stocked, the owners make it to where you don’t need to bring anything! Very relaxing spot to get away to. Highly recommend!!

Charming and perfect

After a business trade show was cancelled in FL due to Hurricane Helene, we took the opportunity to visit friends in Louisiana. We were recommended this cottage and our friends were right - it was perfect. The hostess and host were perfect, the town of Abbeville charming, and sitting by the river in perfect weather absolutely what we needed. We proceeded to eat our way through southern LA - Dupuys - everything, Suires (try the etouffe and the pecan pie), French Press in Lafayette - try the french toast - not to mention the delicious treats left by Anne. Oh don't forget to take some boudin and green onion sausage home with you from one of the many meat/sausage places.

Cozy cottage

The cottage is just precious and perfect for a get away from everyday life! The highlight for us was the porch which faces the Vermilion River, the perfect place to sit peacefully and enjoy the local wildlife. We also really enjoyed meeting the owners!

Cajun Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bayou Rose! Anne is an exceptional hostess with so much attention to detail and extra special touches that make you feel so welcomed. The cottage is very peaceful and serene that sits on a beautiful property overlooking the Vermillion River. The cottage was very clean, and Anne provided numerous complimentary items to make the stay so easy. The boudin and pork rinds were a big hit! There are several local restaurants nearby, we highly recommend Dupuy's, that offer the true Cajun fare. Can't wait to make a return trip and visit with Anne again!

Fantastic Getaway

This is our fourth trip to this fabulous cottage. The hosts are great about giving ideas of what to do and great places to dine. But, just sitting on the back porch gazing at the bayou is super relaxing and gives a person a chance to chill and rewind.

A pretty cottage on the banks of the vermillion

Beautifully decorated cottag with a local cajun flair. Anne the hostess was very friendly and responsive. It was our second visit there and if we return to the area we will stay there again.

Wonderful time we had exploring the sites that the Rose B&B owners suggested we see in their neck of the Bayou . The restaurants and discovery areas of local history were outstanding. Enjoyed the host’s hospitality immensely.

It was amazing. My husband and I have been traveling to different states to learn more about the real American cultures, history, and lifestyle. The little rosé cottage is the best so far. The owners Mrs. Ann and Mr Mike are supper nice. They were always willing to give us information on what to eat, things to do in Abbeville plus if the town was hosting any events they let us know. The cottage was extremely clean.

Absolutely Divine

Ann and Mike are top notch hosts. The little house is great. We will definitely be back when its cooler. That way we can sit outside on porch and enjoy the view. You will not regret staying here.

Home away from home

Anne and Michael were amazing hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed. They were right next door to us and made it clear to contact them if we needed ANYTHING! Anne was also like a second mother to us young adults who made sure we were safe when we were exploring Louisiana and even before our vacation started and once we were on our way home as well!

It was great to have a sweet little place to rest and relax. We also toured Jefferson and Avery Island, went on a swamp tour, and ate great food. All of this at the recommendations of Anne and Mike. They treated us to delicious snacks as well. They go above and beyond as hosts!❤️

My experience was lovely, the place felt like home. I received fresh cinnamon bread, and pecan tarts. There is nothing like Cajun Country. This plave was very unique and inviting. Loved it. 😍

Comfortable

The pictures of the Bayou Rose do not do it justice. It was larger than what I imagined from the pictures. It was very comfortable with lots of amenities. I loved the location, in town, close to restaurants, set back from the road and on the river. Very quiet and relaxing. My wife and I stayed for a week and found lots to do from nature hikes, festivals, museums, and even golf. I loved having Anne and Mike near by. They where very friendly and helpful. Fabulous Place

This is our third visit to the Bayou Rose as it is in a wonderful location with fabulous hosts. We felt totally immersed into the Cajun way of life. The cottage is as cute as it can be and the porch a wonderful place to watch wildlife and relax

Right on the river

We are returning customers of the Bayou Rose. We have family in the area and love staying here. Anne and Mike are wonderful hosts! The location is perfect near Abbeville, restaurants and our family in Kaplan.

Abbeville Cajun Comfort

The Bayou Rose Cottage, with all it's contents and surroundings are a true testament to the beautiful, unique culture of the people of South Louisiana....the Cajuns. Anne & and Mike are fine examples of what the heart of being a Cajun embodies. From seeing Whooping Cranes near the White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area to the most delicious crabcakes at Dupuy's, all the way to spending time sharing memories of snakes, gators and the Governor with Mike, our stay in the Bayou Rose Cottage on the bank of the Vermillion River has been a very joyful adventure! This is really someplace special and we were very blessed to meet Anne & Mike. They gave us so many tips on places to go and things to do. We really enjoyed our adventures in the Abbeville area. The accommodations were perfect and we want to return!
