The home was spacious and clean. The sleeping arrangements were only 3 king skze beds, so we did have to bring air matresses to make it work for our group.Great communication.
The house had plenty of room for our family and was extremely clean. Had some good family dinners there and the back yard was nice to hangout in. Would recommend staying here.
Driving down the street looks a run down but it looks as if they are trying to rebuild the neighborhood. This property is very nice and one of the cleanest Iâve ever rented. It is close to shopping and plenty of places to eat. The beds were comfy and having 3 king beds was great! We didnât spend a lot of time at the townhome as we were in town for a wedding but seemed stocked with whatever you would need.
Brand new property close to anything you need while in Charleston
My best friend and I were in town briefly for a book signing convention and absolutely adored this spot. It had almost everything you needed, just a few small little touches would make it absolutely perfect. You can tell the property is brand new.
This was a great place for my family of 4 adults and 5 kids to stay! The house was centrally located from the spots that we wanted to visit throughout the local area. The beds were really comfortable and the towels were nice. Having the amenities of a kitchen to cook meals and a washer and dryer was very nice. And having the garage was a plus! The neighborhood was quiet and easy to access from the highway.
Ian, the owner, responded quickly any time I reached out and was amazing in helping us out when I realized I had selected the wrong date to leave. This was a stress free vacation and we would stay here again.
The isnside is beautiful. It looks newly redone. I would have loved to have bedside tables as it is hard to navigate your surroundings in unfamiliar places in the complete dark. Also, the door with the full window downstairs is creepy at night without anyway to close it. People can see right in.
The property was very nice but the surrounding neighborhood was not so much. A lot of dilapidated and not well maintained properties were around the house so when we drove up, it made our family a little nervous. However thenproperty itself was very nice and a full garage was a comfort to keep our car in. The central location was also a positive as it was easy to get wherever we wanted to go. All in all it was a good stay and we never felt unsafe or anything, just surprised at the neighborhood upon arrival.
This is a very good property and reasonably priced if you are traveling with families or larger groups, there are 3 true KING beds (most places have Queens) which can sleep 2 adults or 3 kids very comfortably, and a couch where a child or adult could sleep if they needed to be next to a pack and play. Full kitchen, 2 full baths one with a tub. 1 downstairs toilet. We found the HVAC just fine. The location is right near the AFB so if anyone is coming in for graduations or change of command its a very good location especially if bringing a family group. Would also work if attending college graduation and you need a larger unit. It is 20 min away from Charleston city center, it is not in that tourist area, and the reasonable price reflects that. For those saying this is not a great neighborhood, it's perfectly fine just working people living in the area - I went running in the mornings no issues at all. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans if people want to cook a lot, there is a Kurig coffee maker but if you prefer a different style bring your own pour over. Toilet paper and paper towels are a bit thin so if you want higher ply bring your own. Right next to highway so easy access to Daniel Island or downtown. There is a Piggly Wiggly a mile down the road easy shopping.
My family absolutely LOVED this great little townhouse! Check-in was contactless and a breeze. It was very clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses/mugs, and everything we needed to cook a few meals, and even a few extra comforts like a Keurig and a snowcone machine! We didn't use the grill, but did notice one in the fenced back yard. The beds were comfy, the towels were nicer than our towels at home (lol!), and we even had access to a washer and dryer (with detergent pods). Also, there were plenty of hangers in each closet. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a rental and had enough hangers for my clothes! And Ian was quick to answer my questions. I truly can't think of a thing that would have made our stay better. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in Charleston next!!
To start, the property was as pictured. The bedrooms were large, the property was very clean and came with a stocked kitchen (as far as dishes and such), even had a cute nostalgic snow cone maker which the kids liked. The neighborhood looked a little sketchy, and you can tell theyâre trying to upgrade the neighborhood by putting in the upgraded housing, it wasnât bad though, we were perfectly safe, it just overall looks run down. The reason I gave the place a 3 star review is because 1) when we arrived the heat was off, completely, and it was 51 degrees in the house and we had small children with us. It took 4.5 hours to get the heat up to 68 which was still cold. 2) the downstairs did not heat up properly at all, it was nice and warm upstairs and cold downstairs, we had to turn the oven on and crack the door to heat the downstairs. 3) for a place that says it sleeps 12 they had 1 extra blanket, which I found in the dryer only AFTER I had went to a store and purchased my own blankets.4) they do not provide any extras as far as toilet paper/paper towels, and they only had 1 dish pod which we were expected to run the dishwasher before we left and 5) the door to the backyard downstairs has no blinds or curtains, so anyone can see into the house at night which is kinda creepy.I will say the host was very accommodating and did offer a late check out when we asked, I just feel like some things need to be addressed to make the stay more comfortable.
Perfect house for our Charleston visit. Nice big bedrooms and great bathrooms. Towel bars need to be fixed, otherwise a great stay. Neighborhood is a little sketchy but we had no trouble.
We stayed here for only a couple of days to attend a funeral in Mt Pleasant. The location was very convenient to the interstate and lots of dining and shopping options. The neighborhood appears to be undergoing updating and some new housing but was quiet and felt safe. The house is very clean and rooms are spacious.
